Forgive me if this was already talked about but I am super excited and didn't find anything with a basic search. Just bought a Sarge Green Gladiator and want to get started with some simple mods. The first thing I noticed that I wanted to fix was the storage in the center console. Its big but basically just a big hole, so my first purchase was a drop in organizer for that. What else do you all recommend? Thinking about a ram mount system for my cell phone maybe? Any recommendations for that? What are your must have parts for your jeep? The only thing that I noticed so far that I think jeep could have done a much better job on is the glove box. The manual barely fits in it, either print it one inch shorter or even better design a better glove box!! Still I am so happy with this, It really is my dream car and I cannot wait to put more miles on it!!

Everyone has different priorities/wants. Mine were ESS controller, trailer brake controller, Weathertech floor mats, and Mopar side steps. Be careful, the list is never-ending!

First, congratulations! I am a new comer to the world of Jeeps also. I drove mine down from Gupton in Tennessee back home to Texas, 1K miles in 2 days. I got a pretty good idea of what I wanted & surprisingly some things I thought I would want but didn't really find a need for. It really is mind boggling the never ending list of "wants". My best advice, live with it for a while and you will know exactly what you need & want :like:

You're lucky, some people even didn't get a manual. Don't keep it in the glove box, keep it at home and safe. You can download the manual online if you need to have one close by.
As you have been registered since January, you didn't search hard enough to see many of the threads about first mods, if you search "first mods" you will find a bunch of threads.

Welcome. Love my Sarge green. I have a list a mile long of things I want. I have a Clayton Overland+ 2.5 lift with Falcons on the way. I installed a banks pedal controller first to take lag out of the skinny pedal. I want floor mats, bullet proof mount, upgrade my 7” radio, seat covers, tires/wheels, sun shade, bikini top, spray in liner, Magnuson Super Charger, Dave’s tunes, taxer mini, etc. I have been told JEEP stands for Just Empty Every Pocket. I am finding this to be true. Good luck with the build.

I went with rokblox for the front, I had a pretty good sized chip in the rear fender that went through the protective film within the first trail. Another great one if you wheel and dont have is the all weather mats regardless what brand.

Phone mount, I got the bulletpoint as it has multiple mounts and has never failed me in any way besides price. I'd suggest buying a handheld depending on where you live, if you plan on wheeling, and what types the majority of people use.

Order a tazer of some sort, I went with the jl mini, its has paid itself off even stock, and then with bigger tires, now the regear among other things.

Must have's are relative haha...... I could go on for days and justify each and every dollar I have spend on mine.

My first mod was some Weather Tech floor mats. Jeep mods are like crack to a crackhead. Only more expensive... You will see something someone has done to their rig on here and you will start fiending for it. You HAVE BEEN WARNED ? Congratulations on your new Jeep!
