I just picked up the Mopar extended rails a few weeks ago. I was lucky to find them on the marketplace for $550. They're great and perfect for what I need. The kids still use them to climb in.
They are not a true slider though. If you plan on bashing your rig into boulders, then the white...
Okay sounds like the BMJA group will be there and ready to hit the trail by 9, so I suggest we plan to do the same.
Plan to be there early enough to have your Jeep ready, communications figured out and membership/day passes purchased. That might look a little different for everyone, but I'll...
I'm up for meeting by 9, or even a little earlier if need be. I'm less than 1.5 hou4s away. @Elff what time would your group be there. Do you think they mind if we tag along?
Nice, thanks for the tip, I might try to go the 22nd then. I remember when we stopped, that's where we saw the Ridgeline lol.
Also just an FYI for anyone first time at Rausch. You have to buy a yearly membership, but if you purchase between Oct and Dec, it's good for the following year
I'm done for whichever one. I finally replaced the side steps with some rock rails so they won't be hanging down anymore. I know @Rusty PW did both with his JTRD that i dont believe is lifted yet, but i think he said it required some winching.
Looking to get a group together for Rausch Creek or AOAA some Saturday in October. Summer's winding down and I finally see some weekends opening up for me and want to get a day in at one of the parks. The foliage makes it very enjoyable. I'll mostly be sticking to greens but I'm sure we can get...
Ugh! I wish I could attend, have my oldest's Tee-ball game at 9 am. Wish I could made it last week as well if you made it to Rausch. Things are winding down from the busy summer schedule. I'm gonna start a thread to find a weekend run at Rausch Creek or Aoaa in Oct
Guilty, broke my rear window loading a grill in the lowes parking lot last summer. Due to covid supply issues, it took like 6 weeks to get new glass. Fortunately we can take the roof off our trucks so had a good excuse to run topless for a while.
Yep I saw that the other day, then the next day the Tread Lightly bage I've been waiting for since April showed up, so seems like they may be getting it together.
Finally got to replace my rough country side steps with enhanced Mopar sliders I picked up like new from the member marketplace a few weeks back for a bargain. Install was a breeze on these and I'm no longer stealing ground clearance from myself!
Yea we've definitely gotta get to Assateugue, I've heard a lot of good things there. I only had the permit for the first time last year and didn't get to use it as much as I would have liked, so I probably won't get another for a little while. The do become avaliable in I think December or...
Springs and shocks are all you really need. There are many people on here who've done this including myself, and there are many posts if you search. I think I netted about 3/4" gained up front and about 1" in the rear. I find the ride much better than the stock sport s setup.
