Great to see everyone today! No worries about getting split up, Jack and I had a blast. Here he his in the Trail 11 rut:
The "O" trail was a lot of fun, felt much more technical than it's green rating would suggest. And you never know what's hiding in the puddles on "D". Hope everyone had a...
I'll have my boys with me, I want to hang til at least lunchtime. We can take some breaks and get them out to move around. I'm about an hour away and want to be home by 3
Going to rausch creek tomorrow, which means I added a skid plate today. I've read some horror stories about installing the rancho front diff plate, but I guess I got lucky. Install was easy, and Amazon said they only had 15 left last week when I ordered for $145
We may need a thread dedicated to hybrid tires, seems like new options are coming up often. I saw Falken will have a Wildpeak R/T supposedly by the end of the year.
It's definitely welcome. I have a buddy in Pittsburgh who is supposed to finally have his delivered this week after like 18 months. Not sure if he's actually going to have it in time to bring along though
Awesome. I bet they'll be great in snow too. These tires just look incredible but they really seem to be a great all around tire as well. I've been mulling over the 295/70r17 size but I think I like this 255/85r17 option better for what I do which is mainly sticking to greens and easier blues...
Got it, well they look great. I'd be interested to hear what you think of them compared to the Kenda's after you get a chance to run them for a little while.
I watched a couple of videos of crawler ridge on YouTube and it does seem pretty doable if I pick the right line on the right, so I may be up for that to earn another badge! Honestly the one boulder at the beginning before the obstacle looks like it might be the biggest problem
8 days, so excited! @Elff glad you made it back! You've been missed.
In general, should we decide how to split into groups? I'm really not built up for much more than greens and and maybe a few blues, but I'm sure others may be up for more.
I'm sure you did put the electric connectors back together, however they are finicky, and you may bent a pin, which will cause things to stop working. Search for bent pins or door connector issues and you'll find plenty of threads
