Sunrider is a blast for me. The convenience to flip it back whenever I want is amazing.
And I know it doesn't take long at all to do the freedom panels and you can carry them in the bed, but hit a pop up rainstorm and even if you can get them back on in 60 seconds, your interior will be...
I don't own a Rubi and haven't serviced one, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night, and can tell you it's an open differential when unlocked
If you search through the myriad of threads on oil service, you'll find a lot of opinions. What I've learned on here is the first service being done early absolutely won't hurt anything, and will help clear contaminants from break in. Shouldn't have to do it more often than every 5-7k (or once...
If you'll be doing a lot of short trips, I think the gas is a better option. I've enjoyed my sport s but got it before the Mojave even came out. Either way I think a stock Mojave or a lightly modified sport or overland would accomplish what you're looking to do.
75w85 is what the Mopar oil is. I'm going to use Valvoline flex fills when I change mine in a few weeks, 75w90. If you tow a lot or or you use case is "severe", 75w140 is recommended, and if you have an LSD, then you'll need the additive. A lot of oils have the additive so probably do not have...
Are they charging you for the alignment? Is it just an effort to make an extra buck? I had mine changed out over two years ago and do not remember them having to do an alignment after. The steering wlt tighter right away, and I lost the wander/constant correction I previously had to do while...
First truck, first 4x4, first Jeep, first convertible, first vehicle I've modified, done my own work on, and cared enough to regularly wash by hand. First vehicle I've joined an online community over, first vehicle I made friends over.
Nearly 3 years and 38k miles later, happier then or now...
What trim do you have? If you have a Rubicon or Mojave there will be a lot you can do stock. I'd recommend the Rusty's LCA skids if nothing else. For reference I have a sport s with Rubicon springs and shocks, take off M/Ts, and a few skids so only really slightly modified, but I mostly do the...
That's a great looking option. Rancho has a diff skid with the plug exposed as well. Not sure if it is discontinued or not, because they did release a new front skid for models without the drain plug and the whole diff is now covered.
I thought when you updated the tire size with JSCAN or another program, that was all that was required. I'd be interested to know if there really is something else that needs done. I feel like they're trying to pull one over
