That's too funny. My wife said almost the exact same thing the other day. Now she just thinks I'm looking for ways to spend money.
Funny again I found this thread today. The low fuel light came on this morning as soon as started up. Was wondering just how far I might make it. 36 miles door...
Welcome back to the Jeep world!
My JKU was Rhino. LOVED that color. I let my wife pick the color on this one. Stingray! She picked perfect, and so did you!
There was a rebate before, it just went to the dealer (call it a coupon). That's how so many folks were getting deals below invoice. I've seen the latest ads, Total discounts really haven't changed that I've seen. If they have and I've missed, I'll be mad for not ordering one!
NTX here. Wylie to be exact. Where are my Jeep clubs? I tried to reach out to both NTX Jeep Club and Collin County Jeep Club previously. Only saw Facebook options to connect. I don't do social media...
Thanks! It's the 2" Mopar lift (which I was told was listed as 2, but closer to 2.5), and 35" Nitto Ridge Grappler I believe. I almost went with black. My wife talked me into the StinGray. I don't regret it.
A touch off topic, but I consider myself a bit of a purist. Actually had a guy pull up next to me (not in a Jeep BTW), and told me to get a real Jeep. I was in my JKU. Total dick move IMO, but I have my reasons. My son is every bit of 5'10" at 14. Even before he got that tall, it was...
And this is exactly why I would never live in New York. Never mind the high taxes and the cold. Brrr, the cold. We will welcome you to Texas. Unless you're a Giants fan.
I never even thought to look. Disappointed with myself. Almost purchased a Rubi, but it sold the day before I got there. It was stripped and a stick, but I didn't care. I enjoy driving a stick. No buyers remorse, but man, still wish I'd though to look around.
The installer picked it up this morning and took it back to fix the steering wheel and check things out. I get to pick it up in the morning, so we'll find out. In the meantime, I got another Gladiator to drive as a loaner, no mods. I paid special attention to the steering. About 1/4 to half...
I'll post a pic tomorrow if it's not pouring down rain. I know its Fox, and I didn't ask for anything in particular. So I'm guessing something fairly standard.
@ShadowsPapa - Understood. Think I knew that somewhere in the depths of my brain. Still way more play than I expected. Constant...
Just picked mine up today. Steering wheel looks like that while driving. Did get the Fox 2" lift with Fox stabilizer bar and 35s. Steering is not good. Way too much play at highway speeds. My JKs have had oversize tires, but weren't lifted, so I'm not sure how much play to expect if...
Pretty cool. We had a couple of these back in the mid to late 70's. My stepdad owned a salvage yard. Plan was to fix them up for me and my brother one day to drive. They divorced and it never happened, but I still remember the cars. One black, one white if I recall. May have to pick one up...
