To back up @NC_Overland
I have a 2023 Rubicon Diesel Gladiator. It came with a plastic bumper. I switched to a MOPAR steel bumper and added a winch. The total added weight (After subtracting the weight of the plastic bumper) was 99.4lbs. I have not noticed the added weight.
This is why I hate "offset" and prefer back spacing. I understand back spacing. I know how much 3.5" back spacing is. I have no clue how much -12mm offset is.
Well I stand corrected and my apologies haha. I can only imagine the frustration while that happened. I cant stand the nannies either. Its times like this when I appreciate my 2000 TJ 5 speed.
Thats crazy. I've been on some steep inclines in both my wife's 2019 JL Rubicon and my 2023 JT. I've shifted in and out of 4H and 4L and never had an issue. Nor have I seen that message before.
If corporate is involved? Absolutely I would. If they mess up in the slightest bit, corporate will it know and that will go against the dealership. The only time dealers are honest and do what they are supposed to is when corporate is involved.
Who says you have to on even ground to shift out of 4L? The transfer case and shifter have zero clue if the truck is on flat ground or upside-down. As long as the transmission is in neutral, thats all that matters.
If they are an authorized Jeep dealer then they HAVE to warranty it. It does not matter if you bought it from them or not. Doesnt even have to be in the same state. As for a loaner? A dealer doesn't have to offer you a loaner. Its not mandatory or required. But if I was you, I would get...
That hood decal has been available since day one of the ecodiesel being available for the JL/JT, which was 2021. Yes, it was used for the Farout edition (2023). But it's not a Farout exclusive decal.
Forums have been on the down hill for YEARS now. Ever since Bookface come up with Groups. I personally hate Facebook groups. Just a on going thread of vomit of nonsense with zero organization. Forums are way way better in every way. I wish people would use forums more. When I got my first Jeep...
I had to check the date of when this was posted. I thought it was a April fools post. The technology is interesting, but those look absolutely horrible. As others have said. They look very home made. Or even a ROUGH prototype... Some thin autozone marker lights screwed to bent and painted piece...
Seems a bit much. I like to keep them guessing. Its funny to watch peoples reactions when they see you pump diesel into a Jeep truck and then drive away with the clatter sounds of a diesel.
You should look at placing an order for one. I put an order in last week and they were willing to work with me on price. They even told me any incentives going on at the time of delivery will also apply to the price.
