    I use the Thule Freeride rack and was able to position the bike standing on both tires by pushing the front crossbar back a little bit. My big issue was the tires clearing the back corner of the top. Once I did that, it worked like a charm.

    The crossbars are attached with security torx screws. You can opt for them when you order them. I’m sure you can order something elsewhere that would make them more secure. I’ve been thinking of ordering something a step above that.
