Looking at yours and mine, yours is definitely sitting way higher. I might end up going that route as well and making a bracket for it to raise it up a bit.

I mean it's pretty heavy and fairly well fit in place so gravity does the trick. Probably won't hold up a jump but havent had issues yet.

so question is, do you guys feel that it's worth the price or would finding a used factory soft top be a better option? looking to run something all summer long and it's gotta be waterproof for sure and easy to remote/pull down.

That's interesting. Was able to mount mine w/o having to setup brackets... just took a little bit of fiddling to get the straps adjusted right but pretty happy with the setup and haven't had any issues with things falling off thus far.

Off a 2021 Rubicon with LED package (700mi on it). Replaced with clear Diode Dynamics markers. $40 or B/O Shipping from 17363 (should fix in a large flat fee USPS envelope).

Just did that on mine... super easy. Aux wires are right next to the battery, just pick the one you want (based on the wattage of the lights --- probably ok with the 15A small wires). Run the positive to that wire then ground the other and you should be done.

ya PETG will do pretty nicely as well... I have printed a kickstand plate for my dirtbike and it's holding up pretty well. Also as a tip for painting (and making it look smoother), using an etching primer prior to top color coat will do wonders!

Ended up going to MD International Raceway on Sunday for bike racing... Pretty cool stuff but man it was hot (and long ride down there on the bike) ;)

well that's interesting. Still can't imagine it would be that much cheaper. I think I might wait a little while at least till I can get a proper summer soft top. that's the next big item on the list.

would strongly recommend printing them out of something else than PLA... PLA will end up warping outside in the sun for sure.
