  1. Stiffen Up the Steering Feel?

Another fan of the Fox ATS 2.0 here. The car I replaced with my JT had adjustable steering, and I liked a stiffer feel. The Fox is an easy install and very happy with the result (but kind of pricey).
  2. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

    Look ma, I'm really a truck! ;)
  3. Thoughts after Two Months of Ownership

I'm a year in on my first Jeep and really like it. The fun aspects of a Jeep with a truck bed for things I don't want inside. Super in the snow. Ride and handling are better than I expected. No big problems, just an occasional click from the HVAC as it adjusts something behind the dash...
  4. Touchup paints for steel bumper compared

I was actually surprised how it turned out. Given how it started, I figured anything would be an improvement. For some reason it reminded me of a famous local veterinarian who everyone in the area would bring a prospective horse to for a prepurchase evaluation. He never said good, or great...
  5. Touchup paints for steel bumper compared

Funny, when I saw all those cans the first thing I thought was "I wonder how many still spray?"
  6. Touchup paints for steel bumper compared

Thanks NC! Funny thing is I did try that. Not completely sure it was transfer, as when I wetted the surface it went all black. Also tried isopropanol. If It was transfer, I would have thought it would stay white when wetted, but it went black and then back to white when dried. Since some...
  7. What do you use to clean infotainment screen on 2024 Gladiator?

PS: A couple install tips for the Spigen. Really happy with mine. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/what-did-you-do-to-your-gladiator-today-admin-warning-no-politics-no-gun-talk.23705/post-1504926
  8. What do you use to clean infotainment screen on 2024 Gladiator?

After living with scratched screens in the past, I make sure that the screens are the first things I wipe down with a clean cloth. On the Jeep I applied the Spigen glass screen protector, so i should have a bit of scratch resistance.
  9. Touchup paints for steel bumper compared

Thanks all! Have to admit, it's fun (but a little expensive!) to have a vehicle I can work on and tweak at home. Easy access to almost everything and a huge amount of interesting aftermarket parts. Waiting for a warmer day to take a doors-off drive and see if my wife can handle the wind. If...
  10. Touchup paints for steel bumper compared

Someone cut a little too close to my bumper and left a large scuff. I am guessing he got the worst of it, however;). Some of the scratches were deep, so I would have had to sand down to metal to actually smooth it out. I decided to go with just painting the surface--turned out very acceptable...
  11. Sunrider owners - MY mess-up, or theirs?

Funny, I had the same concern. At least in my case there is not that much pressure required to tuck in the flap. You can kind of get a feel for it when you try it. Mine pops back after a season with no distortion at all. On the flip side, I tried it out for about a day, and the doors really...
  12. Sunrider owners - MY mess-up, or theirs?

I decided to tuck that flap in behind the rail rather than have it tear or deform. Since it did look a little odd, I asked the question a little earlier, so here are some replies: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/very-quick-question-about-sunrider-install.82053/
  13. HVAC sound, when to fix, when to live with it

Thanks all for the replies. Think I came up with the perfect solution: Time to order a set of tube doors ;)
  14. HVAC sound, when to fix, when to live with it

Hey, thanks for the reply. I was just wondering if I was the only one with clicking.
  15. HVAC sound, when to fix, when to live with it

Compared to most of the other problems I have seen here, this is pretty trivial. But hey, it's rainy here today and killing a little time on the forum. By the way, we are really happy with our Gladiator!! Since new last year, there has been a ticking/clicking noise as the HVAC system...
  16. Do you all think quality has gone DOWN?

I'm a year in with my Mojave. It's been a lot more fun than the limited use Vette I traded on it. No huge quality issues, but one annoying click as the A/C adjusts. At first glance you would think it's the driver's side blend door actuator. The dealer replaced that, a quick and easy...
  17. Bestop Sunrider minor air leak at highway speeds--any ideas?

I added a Sunrider top last year, and it's great in the summer. I take it off for our frigid winter. This year I noticed a little "chirping" type of noise at highway speed or in gusty wind. I really don't remember this last year, as it seemed completely quiet. Any ideas? Is this kind of...
  18. 25 Mojave passenger side vents blow hot

Don't panic until you talk to your service team. The actuator is just panel or two. Even my longer repair above was accomplished from below without a full dash removal.
  19. 25 Mojave passenger side vents blow hot

I just went thru the opposite on my JT, but it might be related. On the driver's side, I could only get cold air. If you are lucky, it's just the blend door actuator which is a fast and easy fix at the dealer. I was not quite this lucky, and it went thru the following (which did fix it, by...
  20. What Did You THINK Was Wrong w/ Your Gladiator, But Wasn’t?

Well, I think this fits: I have a ticking noise as the air conditioning adjusts. Took my borescope and watched the drivers side blend door actuator, and it clicked every time it moved. So went to the dealer, and they replaced it and it still clicked. Went the next level, to quote from the...
