My Rubi had "Service 4WD" followed by "Swaybar disconnect not available" - obviously your Sport won't have the swaybar message. I started noticing these coming on when the "2H" in my 2H-4H-N-4L indicator started flickering occasionally. Over a few weeks it became more frequent. Eventually took...
I've driven many manuals and never noticed rev hang - except when the motor restarts after Auto SS (is that Stop Start, or Start Stop? :D) and I shift from first to second gear. Going into second, I've learned there's no need to give any throttle. Seems like fuel delivery is a little over eager...
Is it really a 3 row? I was going to say what's the point of the extra windows in the raised roof it it's all behind the second row, where nobody sits. But if it's a 3 row it makes more sense.
Just not sure how easy it would be to get into that third row, or how claustrophobic it would feel...
What I did to my Gladiator today (and yesterday)
Installed a ham radio / scanner inside the console, as there aren't a lot of other locations to put it. This also keeps it completely hidden (and locked) when not in use. Remote control microphone lets you control the radio even if the console...
I'm old school so I like the look of a steel rim but prefer alloy because they're generally lighter weight and less likely to go out of round. The downside is allows will tend to corrode with age, and are more brittle.
If you want an alloy rim with a steelie look check out the Fifteen52 Analog...
Sounds like a very expensive and complicated project. I think each truck in its current configuration is far better than the blended version. I would keep each as-is, or just get your Gladiator and sell me the Ram. I miss my 5.9.
I can't remember what my 2020 Rubi came with but before it even came in, I ordered Weathertech floor liners for front and rear. Highly recommended. I've used them in several vehicles in the past. Very durable, yet thinner and lighter than the Mopar mats - which is helpful when trying to wrangle...
Ditto, here in New England. I've had a favorite third party tonneau in past trucks, but the MOPAR factory tonneau has never disappointed me. I'll run it stock until it wears out.
Good to know. My previous JKR got about 40K on its factory MTs but it wasn't doing hardly any towing or hauling. I'm planning on switching to All Terrains when these Falken Mud Terrains wear out. The Falken MTs have been great but I must admit slight overkill for my applications. Makes sense...
How many miles did you get our of your factory Falken tires before they needed to be replaced? (i.e. wore out, not just upgrading to a new tire before the Falkens reached end of life).
I've got 26,700 miles on my original Falken MTs and they're getting noticeably louder. They still have some...
