Since I brought up another option. What does this at double the price give you over the terraflex ST Forged Swaybar for the JT? From what I can tell from using the Terraflex kit which does the same thing. But also adds travel to 16”. Im curious why one would choose the Currie over the Terraflex...

Some of the parts are reused frkm thr factory. As far as unused bolts I rrally dont recall myself. I have my tailgate stored with other misc parts from yhe factory install. Id say regardless, most arent going to be taking of the canopy camper. Just easier to start new. Yet, if you do tany small...

If i could really look back I would have also removed the bed and installed bungs between the bed and the cab. Pre ran wires from battery to bed inside frame rails etc. as far as cam @813 Fabrication & Design does make a adapter that takes the factory backup camera and mounts in rail above...

I would now be working on routing your propane lines if you are going from drivers to passenger. Also consider quick release sans a regulator for stoves. As they usually have something built it. Youll thank me at high altitudes. We run a dickenson p9000 on yhe passenger side back wall with gp...
  12. Stiffer Springs(coils)/Heavy duty Coils

We originally ran the clayton triple rate springs. But for our use they where not HD enough. We do have our set for sale for $300 dm if interested. We ended up going with the Dobson Extra HD springs and the Icon Rear Spring 1.5 spacers. We now can load up without use of airbags. But unloaded we...

We use the Terraflex ST forged swaybar kit on ours. No issues with the end links being so low. Brings them well above the axle. Only install issue we had was with the rokblox mudflaps needing to weld on brackets. Benefits are links cant get damaged and allows up yo 16” of rear wheel travel...

Look up removing door bolts for some pointers. Some have used a breaker bar. We have used an cordless impact drill. Issue is the paint and some will have to be heated to break bond. Anyhow look up the above and you will find an answer that will work for you.
  15. Teraflex Sport ST3 3.5"

We have the complete RT3 Kit. We didn’t use the front tack bar as we ended up going with the RPM Steering 2.5ton steering kit. I’m the back we ended up using different springs because of the Alucab canopy campers weight. We run the Teraflex Nomads with 37x12.5 and the Falcon LT shocks 3.2. Same...
  16. Stiffer Springs(coils)/Heavy duty Coils

I wasn’t even talking about any certification. Which as far as I am aware isn’t required by law. But I am only aware of Federal and Local laws not your jurisdiction. Regardless, even if it was some sort of sign off. I would be willing to bet an engineer designed product installed within the...
  17. Stiffer Springs(coils)/Heavy duty Coils

There is a lot to it. From strengthening frame if needed, better brakes, rims and rated tires. Steering isn’t really needed for the weights that are possible. Look at what they are doing for the LC300 in Australia with both body chop to dual cab. Frame extensions and GVWR upgrade to 4.5 tons...
  18. Stiffer Springs(coils)/Heavy duty Coils

One thing that we should be more aware of here in US is GVWR upgrades.
  19. Stiffer Springs(coils)/Heavy duty Coils

  20. Stiffer Springs(coils)/Heavy duty Coils

you’d have to talk to Clayton to get thedynamic weight rating. They only give the spring rate which is the force required to move the spring 1”.
