  1. Stiffer Springs(coils)/Heavy duty Coils

Made an editable spreadsheet. Has AEV, Dobson, and Clayton Springs. Feel free to ad dithers as they become available.
  2. Stiffer Springs(coils)/Heavy duty Coils

Dobson C29-249VB C29-249VB 3” will need an icon spacer for spring for 3.5” lifts. Also recommend the Teraflex spring retainer. Spacer mounts below spring and retainer inside to the top. Retainer won’t work if running airbags. Springs rated for 880lbs-1210lbs. These are the springs we are...
  3. Stiffer Springs(coils)/Heavy duty Coils

I will ad this as we initially ran the HD springs from Clayton. They are great springs but with us with the ACC camper and fully loaded out for the arctic we noticed that they compressed a bit. In doing so we felt that we could go with a heavier duty spring and gain some travel and ride quality...
  4. Rear Seat Dog bed?

I second these. A must to have with dogs. Heck even just hauling cargo back there. Came in super handy with our 3 month trek this year.
  5. Warranty issues sheared Lug Bolts

Yes yet as with anything easily proven would be stretched lug bolts. This in turn could apply to any engine issues. Like we denied you warranty as we don’t know who last changed your air filter, oil etc. That said failures of this type are due to as mentioned stretching of lug bolts, vehicle...
  6. Warranty issues sheared Lug Bolts

We where driving down the road in Washington and had our Passenger Rear Tire come off without warning. Jeep at this time has said that they will not warranty the failure of the lug bolts shearing due to the tire size. 37” Funny part they said I was heavily modified. Which by any standard is...
  7. Need solutions for front camera relocation on ARB Full Classic

Looking for options to relocate the front camera as one of my future projects. I have so many little things to work out before I could even get to it. Let alone leaving in two weeks for 3 months in the arctic. The only real solution I have seen "off-the-shelf" is the AEV conversions front bumper...
  8. Move XM ANTENNA

most buy a new antenna and a new cable that is an extension. You can remove it from the sound bar it is located on the top middleunderneath a plastic cover. But you’ll have to remove the top and buy a wireas you cannot remove that. Again with the costs of a replacement ofaround $100 with the wire...
  9. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

I sealed mine up. Worst possible place was on the sides of the bed where the tailgate used to be. At first used foam and tape. But foam just sponged water. Changed to sealant over tape to help place the sealant. I also seal every rib it and addition to the canop camper inside and out. Where I am...
  10. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Never would do such a thing. Even road spray would eventually migrate into the cab.
  11. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Either way. Some Silkaflex will resell any plug making it as watertight as from the factory.
  12. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

If I remember correctly I ran it through the back of the bed and underneath the cab to one of the plugs underneath then routed through the cab to the unit. It wasn’t difficult. Most time was spent cleaning up the install.
  13. Trail Tool Kit Suggestions for the Gladiator

This has fallen to the wayside a little bit. But have done enough wrenching on most things to have a really good idea of what is needed and will look at putting something together here in the near future.
  14. Diesel Gladiator owners with upgraded gearing ONLY please...

You are hilarious. A Jeep owner arguing about time and money when it comes to a Jeep. I am not going to argue about this when dealing with the gearing. I am staying from my experience when dealing with my rig, my weight, and running 37” myself. Two areas need to be worked on. Have tried to go...
  15. Diesel Gladiator owners with upgraded gearing ONLY please...

I’ve chimed in on this previously. I’d say you haven’t had enough time behind the wheel. I was under the same impression. Then stubbornly was like oh a tube will just make up the difference. Although the tune greatly helped and is manageable. You honestly need regearing, not that it isn’t...
  16. Side steps/rails etc. what are you all runnin ?

Still waiting for them to come in. Last I talked they where supposedly shipping out near last Friday. Need to get back ahold of them to see if I can have them before the expo and will need with extra lift as well. Easier with service dog.
  17. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

For the canopy indeed the old available off the shelf option right now is the GP Factor that opens out. I haven’t looked into this myself as we ruled it out due to security reasons and being more stealth when camping. Though if one became available at a reasonable price the window could be...
  18. Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

I’m a bit confused by what you are asking. What do you mean by the wings and awning windows? For the 270degree awning? Please expand explaination.
  19. JT Diesel Snorkel

It’s aluminum. No need to coat it. The intake allows cooler air regardless of the engine temps. I have seen some improvements in throttle response from it. The biggest was when we got our green diesel engineering tune. It really helped. My exhaust and down pipe are my restrictions now. That say...
  20. JT Diesel Snorkel

Engine intake temperatures have lowered. The hood vents do not allow hot air to escape. Instead hot air is drawn through the bottom of the back of the engine.
