I’ve had the LT 3.3 Diesel specific valving shocks on order since Mid December timeframe. Last conversation with Terraflex was that they are having issues getting specific materials/parts to manufacture. With no estimate of manufacture. I’m going to try later this week to get some type of...
Rpm recommends using the Clayton steering stabilizer relocation bracket as well for their steering kit.
Although we are waiting on our Falcon shocks to install our suspension and steering parts. For the Veteran Overland Project Vehicle we went with the RPm Steering 2.5ton Steering Kit. 2” solid...
Any input on this? During my last trip had a major hit in gas mileage 13mpg and went through a bunch of def. Had a small trailer and a couch on back but winds where obnoxious IE 60mph+. Haven’t done the new March TSB DEF update. Anyway to verify fluid level? Besides gauge lol. Anything I should...
Although I am putting in a bed rug. I took hd hvac cold weather aluminum tape and taped them up. Also used the bubble type insulation. May have some issues with the bedrug time will tell with the bubble foil insulation. But with my alucab canopy camper I have been able to seal up the bed 100%...
I am aware of the OP making no mention of towing. My point was that the vehicle was being loaded with a capacity of someone who uses the vehicle. Like carrying full camping gear, fuel and water as well as passengers would approximate the use of the vehicle. Also, towing would indeed have an...
It does make peak torque in that range but only on 6th gear. The torque is limited by the tune in lower gears. Only way to change this is with a tune. I have done this with Green Diesel Engineering and their is a noticeable difference.
I disagree based on personal experience. I just saw issues from my gladiator seeking 6-7 gear during a 4 hour trip one way then another. Note: I was pulling a trailer with a couch one way and empty back. I do have an Alu-Cab Canopy Camper as well. There where strong winds. But there and back I...
Didn’t mean to post in your thread sorry. Was back and forth with the Alucab thread.
Anyhow the cab weigh very little say 3/4lbs per can then 5 gallons of fuel. Or about 30lbs for 5gallons. Gonna do two cans.
I don’t know honestly as I mainly use a tablet with Gaia or CarPlay Gaia to the radio 8.3”. I can also pull gps from my inreach mini. Haven’t considered an extra external satellite antenna as I haven’t really gotten to test things yet up in mountains or extreme wooded areas. Either the build...
Looking for options to mount Jerry Cans to the Camper. Have two Waivan cans Id like to mount. Especially since there are currently no LR fuel tanks for the diesel.
We are currently not running a spare tire on the back door. We do have our DMOS shovel mounted closer to the handle side. We have...
Waiting to see new updates for manufacture for delivery.
Called realteuck and they didn’t have any of the classic bed rugs in stock. All backordered. So on the manufacturer’s schedule which isn’t know at this time.
That would be ideal is a product available world as well as someone starting out from the start with the ACC. Unfortunately the heavy duty stuff is just starting to hit the market.
This said one can easily plan ahead and work out closely what their weight would be without being over sprung. I...
I’ll do the same with the Clayton’s. Also have a diesel with the ACC and Goose interior/water tank etc. once finished with build need to weigh the thing.
biggest issues with others available is the are only made for a 2.5” lift. I’m at a 3.5” with Teraflex RT3 LT. That said Teraflex mentioned...
