I see the reviews on the JT are less than stellar, but the JL reviews aren't bad.

Additional: The bass knob is an additional gain controller, not a volume or bass boost. It lets you vary the gain anywhere from 0 up to the setting you made on the side of the amp. (As long as you had it set to max when you set the gain, like the instructions state but I forgot to say above!)
There are a ton of videos on setting gain and a few vids on the others.
For gain, setting by ear, you basically set your head unit to the loudest you normally listen, start at 0 and turn up the gain until it sounds bad, then back it down a little. Unless you're overly serious about your sub...
Yeah, I'm sure this thing will be fine considering the tiny wire they ship it with. I beefed mine up in case I want to upgrade in the future.
Now that I've driven around with it a little, I'm pretty sure I won't need to. When I came home today with it thumping, I walked in to my wife asking...
Got mine about 20%+ below sticker. Felt good.
Then saw a video where a guy was theorizing about why they're selling at 25% below sticker so now I think I missed another 5%!
Had to take the brand new Challenger to a dealer because something in the exhaust was rattling at certain loads/rpms. The kid at the dealership said "that's just how performance cars sound". I said: look, punk, I was driving hotrods before you were born, and before that I drove hundred dollar...
Dang... NOW you give me an idea? I was trying to come up with a way to turn it on and off manually, but I was focused on my 8ga power wire and the possible future draw the switch would have to handle. All I needed to do was put a switch on the remote wire!!! Oh well, future changes.
Yes, it's a 2025 thing (the ACV, obviously not the app). No, not related to Sirius.
My salesman didn't set it up, other than inputting my email on his side. Then I set up an account with that email on my phone.
No, camber is the word I was looking for. Caster is front to back rotation and should see very little change from a spring adjustment. Not 0, but negligible.
Camber changes as your suspension loads and unloads (push spring down top of tire leans in). Raising the ride height has the same...
I used them when I was a teen with a $200 truck with sagging springs and you could buy a set of spacer blocks for $19.95 at the local farm store. Or find them in the junk yard for $5.
Everybody says that it stiffens up a lot, but isn't it just an old school spring spacer? Spring rate should stay the same, so the main difference would be weight distribution, which shouldn't be much. What am I missing as I try to figure out the cause?
"Need" can be a strong word. I think the arms are more of a preference, depending on what you're doing.
An alignment on the other hand... any time you go loosening and tightening things in the front end you should redo the alignment. Especially when you're actively changing the geometry...
After a recent app update, I have a button that says "Ventilation: On".
Looking it up I find "Active Cabin Ventilation".
Does anyone know if this is a standard feature or an option on some models?
The only time I remember to try it is when the truck is in the garage, so when it fails with an...
