Yes i have a manual rubicon jl , I too thought that this trans would work great, but it is the 3.6 that is the problem . I do use it as a jeep tho . comparing to my 03 rubicon,there is alot more reving and slipping of clutches to do the same obstacles .

With the low torque of the 3.6 you would not like towing. or going off road . with Man .
