Would the system be negatively affected in any way if you just attached the turndown tips at the end of the silver pipe, without taking it all the way to the back?
most of Fab Fours stuff....especially this.

but...more specifically, I'm waiting for those tuffy bed boxes w/the bestop tonnau cover to get dropped! I saw them on a SEMA build, and there was a write-up on them that someone posted (can't find it). Been checking the website since SEMA, and no news.
Exactly this! no point in all of us rushing off to the service depts at this point. This is clearly a widespread issue and should be assigned to someone to find out how/why and what needs to be done to fix it.
I'm not sure how long you've waited for them all to appear, but I know that if you turn the truck on and go directly to the UConnect apps menu, it takes a minute for all the apps to load, and those are loaded directly into the system. It may take it quite a while to read and display 3900 songs...
In all fairness, you could save a LOT of time by just using the reverse lights. Instead of using an aux switch, just out the truck in run (engine off, park brake set) then out it in reverse and boom! Lights.
You shouldn't have to run any wires under the hood, you can hook your ground up in the back, your relay can go in the back too. Wire 2A will connect to your reverse wire (from the hitch). In the part you bolded, i was talking about the wire from your aux switch. You will have to connect you...
This is speculation, but I imagine that the under-hood hot wire (fused) supply power to the switch through wire 1A. The under-hood ground will provide the ground for your lights. wire 2A will provide power to the lights from the switch. Wire 3A provides power to the switch through your...
Do you have a picture to go with this description? or maybe a line diagram? I know i could tell you how to get that to work, but I can't wrap my head around your description for some reason.
It's really sounding like your white wire (with relay) should come off your aux switch. and the red...
I doubt it, because you're still pulling on the invidiual ring, secured with a bolt, as opposed to pulling on the entire beam secured with (3?) bolts evenly spread.
So, I just ran across this guy, who's local to me here in North Houston, and he owns Trauma metal works. I was dead set on getting ADD, but I'm really liking what he's got. He's also in the process of developing a rear bumper.

Sure, you would just have to tap the hot wire into your backup lights, AND an aux switch. That would be the easiest way, but would probably also turn on your backup lights when you hit the aux switch. Not sure if that would bother you.
