Evo makes the front coilover bolt-on kit. Something similar couldn't be used with say, a 14" Ori Air strut?
EDIT: I see you're probably talking about the control arms, and not the Ori Struts. my bad...more research and some measuring is in my future!
So, Rock Krawler has the Pro-X rear upgrade but, how difficult would it be to do something similar in the front? Then, fab some brackets to run Ori Air struts to ditch all the trackbars, sway bars, springs and bump stops?
"They" say the clutch is the reason for the de-rated towing numbers. Figure before too long an upgraded clutch will come along, for less than the automatic transmission upgrade.
Yeah....I had to order for my combo. Manual trans, tan seats, rubicon. there were tons of rubicons around on lots, no manuals, and no sting gray with tan interior.
I've seen stuff like this on Helicopters, but usually for castellated nuts, to be used with cotter pins. (TQ to "x" ft. lbs then turn to align next castellation). I'm sure there's some kind of engineering explanation for the torque + "x" degrees. I just don't know what it is....seems much...
The 2nd pics I've seen of one breaking at the FAD. Glad everyone (that was doing the right thing) is ok. And what a good boy biting that bad person! lol
