Quick update on the progress. Got most of the Rock Krawler 3" Pro-X No Limits lift done (still waiting on the coilovers), adjustable Fox shocks out back, the 38" Pats & Method Holes all around, and all the steel on this beast. Loaded up the tent and other gear, and took a few trips. Even brought...
Weird deal, but thought I'd share in case anyone else might be having this issue.
I've never had the slightest problem with my CarPlay working. I just plug in the phone and it all pops up. Until yesterday afternoon.
I'm at my son's Hockey game and couldn't remember if I'd locked my truck, so I...
I’m generally a guy who trades cars often, but I said for years that I’d be first in line if they ever produced another truck, and I was. I picked up my first JT 5/21/19, first one here in OK, and quickly knew I’d “never” sell it.
Last month, however, I couldn’t pass on a Hemi-swapped JT I...
Call me crazy, but I did a thing over Labor Day weekend.
I'd found a new Hemi-swapped Rubicon sitting on a lot in Myrtle Beach a couple of weeks previously and had been beating them up pretty good. I finally got them to an acceptable number, so I stripped down the black JT and we headed to the...
Thanks man. That's the beauty of custom fab. You get what fits your needs best.
Personally, I never really remove the rear half of the hardtop and have a Bestop sunrider for the front, so using that area over the rear passengers just made sense.
Already planning out some upgrades on this as...
I loved this concept and was willing to wait for quite a while, but when it became clear that this is just going to keep getting drug on, I decided to go The custom fabrication route.
In the end, I’m glad I did, because I got exactly what I wanted for my own needs, and actually spent less than...
It depends on how you use your truck. If it’s a daily driver and you never really off road, and you have roadside assistance, you probably don’t really even need a spare.
if you will occasionally, you could just drop it in the bed for those trips.
Or if you want it with you full-time, you...
Easy decision for me.
I didn't need a heavy, workhouse truck anymore, but still need a bed, so the transition from Ford Super Duty and Wrangler to the JT was a no-brainer and saved me a ton of cash.
Couldn't agree more. All the crybaby butthurt about the wave has taken the fun out of it. The snowflakes have turned it into an obligation and it's in my nature to rebel against societal obligations & requirements. I wave, and I certainly wave back, but I do so begrudgingly now.
On a side...
It wasn't cheap for sure, but about what I would've paid for a quality pre-fab bed rack, roof rack, sliders, bumper, and swing-gate from Road Armor or a similar company.
Been pretty focused on a big phase of the build for the past couple of months, so all the smaller mods got put on hold for now.
One of the main things I've looked for since I got my JT is a bed rack that looks great, works with a tonneau or softopper, and is completely adaptable, depending on...
