I would like to see a 1" body lift for the JT. It would be perfect for the Mojave, where you don't want to mess with the suspension, but just an extra inch of fender clearance would be perfect for 37s.
Nice video.
It is hard to tell where you are at on that sand hill Jim. Were you past the "S" turn route that bypasses the steep upper face of the hill, and trying to climb the steep face? Or were you still below that "S" turn route? Were you then able to take the "S" route up the hill, or...
Pretty much any spring or shock change you make on a Mojave is going to be a downgrade. But with the weight I have added to my Mojave I have lost 3/4" of ride height, both front and rear.
Added weight includes a Warn Evo 12s winch (72 lbs), and an Arcus front bumper. The Arcus front bumper...
The sway bars on a Mojave basically are a weak version of an Anti-Rock. The Anti-Rock is a softer rate sway bar that you just leave connected. The sway bars on a Mojave have a roughly 20% softer rate than the sway bars on other JTs, and you just leave them connected. Granted, a sway bar that...
5000 miles on mine, and the only issue is with the dealership. They changed the 33" Wildpeak MTs to 35" Wildpeak MTs before I bought the truck, and one of the tires had a bounce at 70+ mph on the interstate. I assumed it wasn't balanced correctly, and since I didn't spend too much time on the...
Explain how you get that. Because going from a +44 offset (stock), to a 0 offset, would be 44 mm. Then going to a -12 offset would add another 12 mm. So he is going to be 56 mm farther out than he is now. 56 mm is 2.2" farther out than stock.
I found with my Mojave that I lost 3/4" in ride height, both front and rear,, compared to stock, after adding a 12k Warn winch and a light weight stubby front bumper, adding the additional weight of a 35" spare tire, and adding the weight of all of my recovery gear, tools, extra fuel carried in...
I agree with the recent post about being able to tell the difference, almost immediately (like before you have left the parking lot at the dealership). Whatexit does not appear to have driven a Mojave yet. Even the on road the ride quality of the Mojave is much different (better) than other...
I traded in a Rubicon (JL) for my Gladiator Mojave. The Mojave definitely has less body roll in turns. I think the reason is the much better damping setup in the shocks on the Mojave. If I were to guess what may be different, based on experience tuning UTV shocks, I would say the Mojave...
Based on the number of other vehicles that I caught up to and passed in 2000 miles (dozens), compared to the number of other vehicles that caught up to and passed me in 2000 miles (zero), I would suspect that my pace is a little faster than most. The ride is super smooth over small chop, but...
I put my Mojave to work last week, and completed the western loop of the Trans America Trail. Over 2400 miles total, and over 2000 miles off road. I'm real happy with the way the Mojave worked. Here are a few pictures from along the way.
Death Canyon, UT
Devils Playground, northwest UT...
I have now completed 8 days of exploring on the TAT. I started where the trail enters Utah, from Colorado, in the town of Monticello. And I completed the western loop, back to Colorado again.
Day 1: Monticello, UT to Green River UT (173 miles) Pictures in above post
Day 2: Green River UT...
Will keep for 1-2 years. Plan on replacing when the 6.4 Hemi has been available for about a year.

- stubby bumper to keep weight down and allow mounting a winch
- Winch
- On board air compressor (taken off of last Jeep).
- That's it. These items will...
Welcome to the forum!
You chose about the lightest weight bumper you could have. The Arcus bumper is a very stout winch plate, with very stout tow hooks, and a super light weight thin metal shell. So the parts that need to be stout are, and the part that doesn't need to be isn't. So I think...
The push button sway bar disconnect on the Rubicon is kind of a pain. They are limited to too low of a speed, or they reconnect. So I end up spending all day with the sway bar connected-disconnected-connected-disconnected-connected again, endlessly, all day long. the push button disconnect on...
You can add a front locker at some time, pretty easily. It is harder to add the reinforced frame, the properly geared t-case, the stronger front control arms, the stronger front trackbar, the thicker walled tubes on both axles, the cast iron knuckles on the front axle, the softer rate front and...
