  1. Gator Mojave Build

I will be waiting to see how this turns out. It sounds like a good plan.
  2. So how did your first 1000 miles go?

My first 1000 miles included 453 miles of dirt, exploring part of the Trans America Trail. I'm running 35" MT tires that were aired down to 18 psi for that whole trip, so I only got 17.5 mpg. Love the truck, and it is working great so far.
  3. Mojave Lift Options

The stock Mojave 2.5" Fox shocks are internal bypass shocks. Those Fox shocks are excellent 2.5" shocks, but it doesn't look like they are internal bypass shocks. So they won't have the same plush ride while in the bypass zone that the stock shocks do.
  4. Mojave Lift Options

MSRP for the Mojave shocks is $7740. That doesn't include the special rate and higher ride height springs, or the hydraulic bump stops. You can buy the shocks for less though. Mopar discounts them quite a ways below MSRP, and list a sale price of $4907 for the set. New take off parts usually...
  5. Mojave only Pic thread!

My Mojave, at home in the desert.
  6. Has anyone bought a gladiator lately, in stock off the lot?

I bought mine a month ago. MSRP was 59k, and the dealer's price was 53k. I have no idea what invoice was. And I didn't try to negotiate further, because this dealer wont do any negotiating. The price on their tag is what they sell it for. It seemed like a fair price to me.
  7. Air Compressors

I'm sure they do, although if you can't find one I bet you could have one made at a place that specializes in hoses (air, hydraulic, etc). Or just buy two of the regular hoses and hook them together.
  8. Air Compressors

I have an ARB Twin installed under my passenger side front seat. Bought it at Northridge 4x4. https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/compressor-mounts-accessories/3550220-arb-twin-air-compressor-mounting-bracket
  9. Anyone have thoughts on going from a truck and wrangler to a Gladiator?

I own a Ram 3500 Cummins for the real truck work, and will keep it for that use. But, ... for the last 40+ years I have also owned a vehicle for off road use. I kept switching back and forth between a small 4x4 truck and a Jeep (CJ, YJ, TJ, JK, and most recently a JL). I would use a small...
  10. 12,000lbs winch

I had a Dodge Power Wagon, that I got stuck frame deep in mud, on one side of the frame, in a deep mud rut. The other side of the truck was on dry hard ground. The 12,000 lb winch really really struggled to pull the truck out. It almost wouldn't do it, even with the winch cable on the first...
  11. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Here is where I bought the mounting kit (see link). Installation is a bit tedious, with wiring, trimming carpet, and notching the heating air conditioning duct that goes to the rear seat. The good part of notching the heating and air conditioning duct is that it creates a vent that lets you...
  12. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Installed an ARB Twin air compressor under the passenger seat today.
  13. Gladiator Mojave Part Numbers # List

Anyone notice that when the radio is on, that the lettering on the radio screen is orange as well, instead of the usual red lettering in a Rubicon model?
  14. Show me stubby bumpers options with skid plate

Arcus front bumper w/ stock Mojave skid plate.
  15. Show me your front bumpers!!

Rugged RIdge Arcus bumper w/ 12K Warn, and stock Gladiator Mojave skid plate.
  16. Trans America Trail

My wife and I did 453 miles of the TAT this weekend in our Gladiator Mojave. We started in Monticello, UT, and travelled north and west, through Moab, then the San Rafael Swell, then on to Skyline Drive, and west to I-15, where we got on the freeway and headed home. This is a fantastic trail...
  17. Warn 10K Platinum vs. 12K Zeon?

Well I commend you for supporting America. That is the same reason there has never been a foreign car in my garage. But I hope you don't think a Warn winch is completely made in America. The Evo line is made in China, like Smittybilt, and most other brands. The Zeon line is assembled in...
  18. Mojave front springs?

I'm sure you could use them, but the Mojave springs are pretty sensitive to added weight. I added a lightweight winch (72 lbs) and the Arcus front bumper and winch plate, which are also pretty light in weight, and my Majave dropped a half inch in the front after that change.
  19. Warn 10K Platinum vs. 12K Zeon?

For what it is worth, I just put a Warn VR Evo 12S winch. It can be used via either a plug in remote, or just use the remote without plugging it in, as a wireless remote. Warn calls it a "standard duty" winch, but it cost less than half as much as their "ultimate performance" Platinum 12s...
