If for some reason the window needs to be replaced, it will likely leak again. So, you are going to need to put the rubber hose 'trim' back in place again and it will cover any paint issues. At least that's the way I look at it.
There was a TPMS change made sometime in June of 2021. TPMS made before the change will work on the JK, but ones made after the change will not work. So, you appear to have the later type TPMS on your JT.
My pre-June 2021 TPMS work on both my JT and JK.
I know I'd be thinking that same thing as you ... why tf would someone park like that?
Well, it's because most people are completely indifferent and see their vehicle as an appliance like a refrigerator that they use to get from point A to point B. They simply see your JT as another fridge...
We all know that the JT attained perfection with the Mojave, it's a scientific fact. :giggle:
Just like when Homer Simpson declared "Everyone knows rock attained perfection in 1974 ... it's a scientific fact."
I have the factory Mopar hard tri-fold cover.
Whenever I put stuff in the bed that I want to keep clean & dry, I use a Tuff Truck Bag. It works great.

That is exactly what mine did too. I could not replicate the noise in the garage no matter what I tried. It went away after lubricating the exhaust hangers.
The exhaust hangers are a bracket with an integral rubber bushing that are bolted to the chassis. The exhaust pipes have a piece that is made from round bar that slides into the bushing. One at a time, remove the hangers, clean everything, then apply silicone grease to both the inside of the...
Did you apply lubricant such as silicone grease to the hangers where they interface with the exhaust? In my experience, they need to be cleaned and well-greased.
I can see it now ... "I got the dreaded P0xxx code and I'm stuck in limp mode. The dealer says my transmission internal auxiliary electric fluid extraction pump needs to be replaced."
Oh, remembered this one last night, don't know how I forgot about it ....
I had a squeak from the rear when going over speedbumps and large speedbump-like bumps during my first winter after getting my JTM.
It turned out to be the exhaust hangers, so check all 3 of them. Mine were super...
The dealer should be able to use 'chassis ears' to track down where the noise is coming from.
To me, the noise sounds rubbery, meaning it sounds like a rubber bushing. If you want to try to trouble-shoot this noise yourself, I'd start by inspecting all of your suspension bushings, sway bar...
Reminds me of when I bought a new 2018 Golf R that I totally didn't need. I just really wanted it. I had repeatedly told my wife about it, but she wasn't really paying attention to my rambling on about some 'stupid car'. So, when I told her I was going to buy it, she had completely tuned me...
My wife wants nothing to do with me purchasing a vehicle. For both my JK and JT, I placed factory orders and she gave me a ride to the dealership when they were ready to be picked up. She literally pulls up to the front door of the dealership, I get out, and she says "have fun honey" as she...
