I would probably go with the Safety group if I had to choose.
With Cargo Management the rails should be easy to add later or aftermarket if really want. There are some good inexpensive Molle options for inside the bed aftermarket vs. rails. The 12 volt outlet - many would rather have a DC...
Mohave has 6000/1200 rating because of the softer suspension so you wouldn't want to start with the Mojave (as the suspension changes are its big thing - you wouldn't want to replace).
There has been a debate on if there is a difference in the Rubicon and Max Tow brakes. Seems right now people have been leaning to them just having different pads (same everything else) as the OEM pad numbers appear different but nothing else. They may have put a pad on the Max Tow that is...
I've been eying adding light bar to the front of mine. I like the Diode Dynamics which will mount behind the bumper (as I have the plastic front bumper on my Rubicon).
Added the JCOffroad Front Molle panel. Pretty easy project.
Took about an hour and half (only difficult part was the adhesive LineX used on the back of the trail rail was pretty darn hard to pry loose). I also had to remove the bed cover - but the factory rollup cover comes off very easy...
I think they are messing with the MSRP because it has no bearing when it comes to the employee price. Employee price should be 5% off of invoice (so they have the ability here to just make up a discounted MSRP because it is irrelevant). If you use the price calculator spreadsheet here and...
I got the bracket from 4wheelpart ....local store said they don't carry in store but they ordered it and had it shipped to my house no shipping charge.
They are subtracting the Employee Pricing for all discount from the MSRP. So instead of discount off of MSRP by the dealer they are taking it off the top (so really its the same whether on lot or ordering). Its marketing - not a change in actual MSRP going forward.
If you look the Rubicon...
The back side of the bracket has 2 metal ends on each side that fit into the channel of the factory rail (they keep it stable but don't lock). Then the bolt from the front center connects to a locking piece that rotates and locks into the rail when tightened. The result is the mount does not...
Received the new CFF 35 version already that I ordered earlier this week. Very impressed with this version. It may not be as fancy with the wifi etc. of the CFX3 - but I really like the way the top opens from both sides. Cools very quick and very silent. For the cost savings over the CFX3...
Has anyone seen a good light bar option for Gladiators that don't have the front steel bumper. I have seen some LED bars that will mount to the rear of it but haven't seen an actual bar that you can attach lights to such as the Mopar one for the steel bumper.
thx
Nice picture
And yes …. I have seen a ton of complaints online that the soft top is not lockable. I actually thought it locked the way it holds firmly in when you close the tailgate - but you supposedly can pry it up (I actually haven't tried). I prefer it not lock.
I'm in the camp of - its a cloth top cover …. lockable means nothing (I'd rather them pry it up if they really want to get in vs. ripping it). And you really have to know that it is pryable at the tailgate as to me it is pretty darn tight there.
