I really like the OEM nice and flat on the bed and easy to take off when I don't want (just 2 bolts on the rear of bed). Very clean and works well. And happy to know the 2 bolts work with the factory tool kit ratchet.
The roll up soft one that came with my Gladiator is not shiny at all. They also had the 3 piece hard folding one at dealership and I wouldn't call it shiny either (although I didn't like the 3 piece design).
I do see the picture online for the mopar looks shiny. Mine is not.
Mine may already be up-to-date (says no updates on the uconnect site). My icon does show a gladiator with backup camera - and the backup at night is very bright (almost like daylight)
Mounted Rotopax on the factory trail rail.
I used the Rotopax Toyota/Nissan adapter - https://rotopax.com/toyota-nissan-truck-plate.html
I'm using the deluxe Rotopax Mount mounted vertical to the plate.
Absolutely perfect fit - and very secure.
Only issue was the bolt that came with it was...
Your right regarding the Lithium - they had to come out with a cable to regulate the power supply on that version. Looks like a case of good thing I have the older model.

Sounds like the new 500X lithium they...
actually your right - if I keep temp close to 40 degree range it should be only .67 ah/hr which would give me a max 49 hours (so I could push close to 2 days) … and would make the PLB40 close to 60 hours.
Amazingly efficient.
I have the older Lead-Acid version not the Lithium.
Do yo know if the issue was via AC or DC output from the Goal Zero (any link).
It has 33 amp hours (so a little less then the 40 amp hours of the PLB40) - so tecnically I should get about a day and a half without any recharge I would assume...
So I ended up going with the Dometic CFF 35 version. Very similar to the CFX3 35 but without the Bluetooth and wifi (which I didn't see a need for). A good bit cheaper (on sale for $585 right now on their site).
I already have a Goal Zero 400 - sounds like it can power the Dometic for a...
Yea for Rubicon you don't get as good a deals as others - I just got 6% off invoice (using the worksheet on the forum here) and I felt pretty good with that.
The Rubicons are eligible for the current 0% for 36months so I took advantage on getting some free interest money with that promotion.
yes I think the Gladiator sticker on original poster is too small - I think it should look bolder like the Rubicon sticker as in the Red one above. Love the font and size on the red one.
Rubicon fenders - come all the way up to line of hood. You can even tell where they have to notch the front vender where the hood latch is.
On the non-Rubicon the fender is a few inches below the hood line and there is no notch on the fender for the hood latch.
