Torybilt - I guess I'm not really concerned for myself (and Virginia doesn't appear to care) - but more surprised as far as it being allowed for Jeep to put it there. do any other pickups have it on the tailgate - which does make sense for 98% of the time a truck is being used - like if it was...
Wow so much for asking a friendly question - I guess I will look up my state. I will look up on my own elsewhere vs. coming here and seeking opinions. Sorry to annoy you Troybilt.
I like the look of the Rubicon name emblem - I think without a name emblem the hood looks a little plain (I guess after seeing so many emblems there). Not that it has to say Rubicon … be it MOAB or custom names people name their Jeeps. I just think it needs something there.
A stand may be nice that is up tall - pull it off from the bed and the stand is high enough you can lay it on the stand from in the bed (with the stand pulled up to side of gladiator). Then just roll it back up to the side of the gladiator - jump on bed and take it off stand from in bed and...
Loading up the Overland and the Rubicon on the Jeep site.... saved photos of both for side to side.
I like the Steel Bumper Rubicon. I like the Rock Rails look vs. the side steps. And the hood - hood makes a huge difference with the vents. Fender flairs definitely a touch higher on Rubicon...

Seems like the back portion will be very small - but with the bed in the way a little awkward. You can roll up a lift to it. probably easiest would be some kind of garage hoist.
I’m leaning more and more toward billet silver. I think it looks good with the red rubicon accents vs some just don’t go with the red well.
I really like punkin but I’m afraid I would tire of it quickly.
Looked like when I configured Sport when selecting the alpine it selected the speaker automatically (or vise versa).
But when I did it under Rubicon trim they seemed to have nothing in common. Maybe a glitch.
If you don't get the premium steel winch bumper on the Rubicon - what is the standard front bumper. Is it still steel just not with the removable ends and winch ready mounting?
One question I had on the Bluetooth speaker is answered in the Jeep Configuration screen.
It does have USB ports so it will act as a USB charger. Since no pictures had shown the USB ports I thought that it was a major mis-step. Wrong it has them.
Looks like comes standard with the Alpine...
Well I never have liked the plain look of the Sport models and I don't know if I have the time to research and get all the parts would need to make it look the way I want.
I honestly think I fit in the MOAB consumer bracket. Love the look of the Rubicon but don't need the whole Rockclimb ability.
I believe I will be Rubicon. I really probably should go Overland but the Overland has the worst of towing capacity with no option for the Max Tow for some reason. And I don't want the Sport versions.
From everything I have read the AWD version in the Sahara is better for Snow because you don't have to be concerned with the pavement being dry. You don't end up driving in 2WD on dry highway as you have to with the standard 4x4 configuration. Of course the 4x4 option is going to be better at...
From the other Criswell thread in the Wrangler forum.
Their standard appears to be 6% off the factory invoice listed price.
You can get an extra 1% to make it 7% using either Friends/Family Chrysler or Tread Lightly.
You can not stack on Costco (they don't actually get discount from Costco)...
