I ordered same day as you! Sting Gray Sport but mine is the base model with manual windows and locks.
Yeah I hear ya on the old vehicle thing. I sold my old Tacoma months ago since I have a 2nd vehicle I can drive in the meantime but it does suck not having a truck for most of the summer/fall.
JC says I am still in shipping but guess what, dealer ETA is now 10/25.
First it was 10/18, then it was 10/21, now it's 10/25!!! Are they seriously getting shipping backlogs again?!?!
Also did Gupton allow any of you to work out financing details before traveling to their store?
I'd love to have all or most of the financial stuff worked out before I show up. I will most likely be going through them for the additional 1 percent off.
I am on a few car hauler related groups on FB....they don't pre-load trailers as most car haulers are stinger setups where the trailer is semi permanently attached to the tractor.
After browsing the chatter on the Fb pages it seems like the #1 complaint about Nitro Creek is the long wait times...
Even a daycab can make that drive in a day. With how many Jeeps Gupton sells you would think they would get entire semis directly from the factory without needing to stop at multiple other CDJR's along the way.
Damn, 2014 GMC already getting cab corner rust?? :swear:
The road salt up here in the winters is unreal....but it seems like Jeep is pretty good on rust prevention. I've seen older JK's that spent their entire lives in WI and they didn't look too bad. TJs are another matter however....
I've seen a lot of poeple on the JL forum who have gotten theirs at Gupton within the first day or two of the ETA range.
Daniel always gives the last day of the range when you ask him directly (and I don't blame him, better to err on the side of caution). Also it seems like they have only...
For the last few months Mojaves have been getting built very quickly. I would say the only possible holdups could be either manual transmission or if you are in Canada.
Probably a good time for Jeep sales guys to take a vacation. MY 2021 orders are done and MY 2022 hasn't quite gotten started yet other than the folks ordering right away off the first initial order guide.
I got a reply from him early Wednesday AM but other people reported getting an OOO message later in the day.
Either way he should be enjoying a well earned vacation :)
2009 Tacoma SR5 DCLB with the V6 auto. It was a nice truck but getting up there in age and given the current market conditions I was able to sell it for what I paid for it 2 years ago despite having over 200k miles and some cosmetic issues.
I was originally set on a 3rd gen Tacoma until I...
Checked in with Jeep Chat on a whim today, sounds like my dealer ETA got moved up a few days!
Original ETA was 10/18 to 11/1
New ETA is 10/15 (tomorrow) to 11/1
Woot! Even though Daniel is on vacation this week hopefully they will have it ready for pickup sometime next week.
This, especially when people ask about trade ins. That prolongs the negotiation/order process and as busy as Daniel is I am sure he tries to minimize the amount of time spent on each factory order.
Best tip is to know EXACTLY what you want before you email him. My first email to him had the...
Yeah that's interesting! I can't even find the wheel you got on the 2021 online configurator and have not seen it on the hundreds of new JTs I've looked at online.
All the Sport S trucks get either silver or black 5 spoke aluminum wheels to my knowledge.
You really scored there, the...
The new Tacoma should be decent, but I was NOT impressed with the 2017 and 2020 Tacomas I test drove before ordering the Gladiator. I did own a 2009 Tacoma for a few years and that was a great truck. The 3rd gen honestly felt like a step back from the 2nd gen in just about every category...
