My point wasn’t a matter of “how hard” one wheels…. As much as bumping into rocks or onto rocks with the tie rod- it just happens. And when it does- steel bends vs aluminum usually bends back….
As to your choice- I have a steer smarts pro drag link- good stuff, and happy so far. Had synergy on...
Frankenstein is not an option?
My .02 would be to go aluminum for your Tie rod unless you do not off road.

Does not meet your jam nut criteria but in my opinion this is a bigger issue with control arms than steering.
Keep us posted with your saga! I...

Great road manners. Great in the snow. Mud- they do fine for what they are.

This looks great- but having seen at least 3 gladiators with bent frames @/just behind the shock mounts, and 1 unexplainable…. But bent at the rear track bar…. Would try to off road with as little weight that far back as possible.
Or like the YouTube channel “down to mob” look at pulling the bed...
This is awesome!
Though I have to poke! There isn’t a single welding supply place closer than 60 miles from you!?! :| suppose I was pretty fortunate when I lived in the eastern sierras there was always a resource for welding stuff…. (Most remote place I have lived in the US…)
Kuat makes nice stuff, but we usually cart 4+ bikes around, so vertical has suited our needs a little better. I am actually in the middle of monkeying with the Lolo to carry 6 across…. Swapping some of the steel bits out for aluminum. If I did it over again I would have just ordered a few of...

For contex- the jeeps dirty… but we just came from the mountains driving in snow…. So doors are relatively clean given the conditions.

I think what’s being confused in some of the above is that it isn’t the tech performing the work that’s being inflated, it’s the fully burden rate via cost of doing business that has inflated…
I am trying to visualize how the track bar to tire clearance changes when flexing. ?
Anyone have a photo?
(Steel prices need to come back down so I can build another ramp for the driveway….)
I know evo and wfo long arm fronts move the control arm brackets to the side of the frame to help with the beat down….. is anyone making high clearance rear control arm mount/brackets. (Good lord I hope this question can skate by the drop/geometry bracket folks. :| )
