Dead blow hammer…. Don’t smash it- but a tap should break the seal. The upper oil pan is aluminum…. So don’t recommend prying at all…

I think that this is sound advice “most” of the time. It should be added to always check off road sway bars on a lift/jackstands and the axle at full droop to ensure the sway bar does not invert. A level sway bar is a rule of thumb and great advise for cars, with off road applications often...

I am willing to bet it’s just the factory shocks. We were pretty unhappy with the ride factory shocks offered too…. Bilstien 5100’s- full set can be had around $400. This is an upgrade and is probably the cheapest option out there. Since all that was done were spacers- a little longer shock...
