  4. How much carrier bearing spacer for a 3.5” lift?

Non issue- gotta think some dudes ditch the two piece rear driveshaft in favor of a single…. Which to me if you are flexing enough to justify a single piece your in the big leagues anyway…. Im at 3ā€ rear and have the rockjock. No noise before or after- just thought the spacer couldent hurt...
  5. The "Mopar lift" - an honest curiosity...

I picked up springs for $300 front lower control arms for $80… metal cloak front sway bar links for another $80…. seemed cheap enough to me- and gave the diesel the weight height it needed. The ā€œkitā€ is kind of a joke… (@$2k!!) The springs were a bandaid fix for me. Quality wise the seem ā€œokā€...
  6. Transmission service

You drive a diesel?? Or are you referring to your hybrid? Anyone running artech skids? 😬 trying to get a read on clearance for the B&M pan or PPE pan…. Looks like a PPE will fit fine but the B&M might be pushing it.
  7. Transmission service

Max life atf huh… 😬 this is the same transmission that’s in Audi sq5’s, Porsche Macan’s, x5’s. Have a few friends with built sq5’s putting down 700+ and Only use zf fluid…. The few bucks in savings isn’t worth the $4500 replacement IMO… šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø...

  9. Kinetic Rope Suggestions

I have had yankum ropes for 5 years now- great product(s). I did find the video above to be pretty interesting and if I didn’t already have a 20’ and 30’ yankum I would likely have went a different route. (Not that Yankum are bad- they are great…)
  10. Believe rear diff is going

This is such a challenging post to answer…. How often did you change the differential fluid? Have you opened the differential and looked at the wear pattern? A google search can show photos for acceptable and unacceptable patterns. Inspection the spider gears would be next. Humming can also be...
  11. Frame flex on JTR? How much?

https://redordeadfab.com/products/gladiator-frame-plates I haven’t seen anyone post on this, but I am considering picking this up. I am open to alternatives and am interested in the overloading reinforcement as well as stiffening.

Fingers crossed it’s 90032 because that’s what I went for! šŸ˜‚ https://a.co/d/42EK4te Ph7.2 and 18hardness @36k 😬 makes me think I might just be worth flushing every 40-50k for peace of mind.
  13. T&S Speed Shop Exhaust

  16. Let's have a conversation about inflation...

I think this is sound advice. I went with fifteen52 wheels instead of methods…. I should have went with methods. lol beadgrips are kind of that perfect game changer of low psi and low weight wheels. šŸŗ
  17. Let's have a conversation about inflation...

My daily commute is 200mi round trip and I take the Jeep one day a week…. I’m running 37’s @32psi… at highway speeds they warm up to around 35psi. Chalk test for sure… at the pressures you are running I would start to watch for the centers to wear faster than the rest of the tire. Low pressures...
  18. Changed my Eco-Diesel Oil on my own

Autozone STP filters are $28 Walmart sells Quaker state euro $22-$25 a 5qt container. ^ meet Ms-12991 spec and filter works fine. I personally choose to change the oil every 5K. Do not judge oil by feel or looks- send in an oil sample for analysis to get a reareading. For cleanliness/ease of...
  19. Long Arm-Mid Arm VS Long Arm-Triangulated 4 Link

This isn’t true, and I don’t mean to call you out in a negative way…. Most long arm kits move the brackets to the sides of the frame and or into the crossmember. The added length on the control arms are usually bent in a manner that the ā€œdrop downā€ or hang up is moved closer to the axle…. The...
