Great post. Jeep Wrangler is a cult vehicle. Part of it's charm, and reason for many sales is that Owners can modify the Jeep. I'm glad they left your parts in place. Looking back, when this is all done, we'll know it was just an Obstacle and we overcame it.

Good to see this post. Old memory. Friend bought a K5 Blazer (or Jimmy; can't remember) back in the day. Lots of problems. He measured the wheel base, both sides. It was 1-1/4" longer on one side than the other. Right out of the factory. He kept that truck until it was all rust....

I bought a Ford F100 new back in '75. Needed an alignment. I watched. Mechanic used a torch for a long time! Twin I-beam front suspension if I remember right. He also had a big bottle of rye that was about 2/3 gone at 1:00 pm.

In the TSB they say that the dealer will do the work if a customers says they have the symptoms described. I'm looking forward to having the work done. Just have a dealer with a bad attitude. Sign on the building says, "New Management. New Attitude" New owners there....

I hope that's not the case. Surely the issue is the same here in Canada as it is in the U.S. After all Wranglers are built in a factory in Brampton Ontario and shipped to the U.S. The T.S.B. would apply to those Wranglers in the US...so the TSB should apply and work for us in Canada too.

We need a new plate. WANDERER Took the t.s.b. to our dealer's service. We reported steering issues from first day... They had the Wrangler all day. Said it's fine. Now that JEEP has confirmed what we've known, just need the dealers to be in line.
