Where I live registration fees are based off of trim level. You are better off to get the lowest trim (Sport) and option that sucker out because registration fees will be far lower than a trim like the Rubicon or Mojave.
Yep, sticker on mine now is $4000 more than it was 6 months ago when I bought it. I may not have purchased it for the current price. Glad I got it when I did.
Again, you are missing the point. I DO NOT NEED those options and I'll build just as capable off road vehicle as your Rubicon and be (alot) of money ahead.
Sport S with Max Tow and Hard Top, 8 speed Auto: $47,555.00
Rubicon with Tow Package and Hard Top, 8 Speed Auto: $55,540.00
Both come with power windows/locks and remote start/keyless entry, 4:10 gears with wide axles.
Rubicon has bigger touch screen display with Nav. Rubicon has...
Max Tow spring is the same height as a Rubicon spring. Max Tow spring is stiffer due to what it's designed for where the Rubicon spring is softer.
Since this is a Max Tow thread I also must mention that the Max Tow package RULES.
There is thread after thread on this forum and other information on the web that says otherwise.

That's great that you like your Rubicon. My original point is you came into this thread about Max Tow JT's and laid a big turd. I'm very happy that you have stated that other packages work well for other people.
I must correct you on one thing you previously posted since I'm staring this...
No, you are missing the point. You paid extra for the name "rubicon". I can build my Sport S Max Tow for less than you paid for your rubicon and have just as capable of an off road vehicle as some of the features you are infatuated with are not needed.
Understand I own a 2010 Ram Power...
You're really stuck on this "rubicon" topic. This thread is about the Max Tow and no matter how much you believe it, what you say is not true. Go build a Sport S Max Tow and then go build a Rubicon with same/similar options like cold weather group, etc. If you are honest with yourself you...
Yep, that's how I read it as well. It is a separate break in period for towing. I wonder if it has to do with the computer for transmission and towing?
The 4:1 T Case in the Rubicon is designed for Rock Crawling period. The regular T Case is great for anything else. I'm amazed at the amount of travel my Max Tow springs have, and the leveling kit did just that it leveled it out. The Rubicon package is insanely expensive compared to just...
