Totally strange as even the old 4.0 the pump runs for roughly 1 second and has pressure built up.
It doesn't really matter if pressure leaks down - sounds like you've got fuel totally leaking back.
Most will drop to no pressure with time. With those where you can hear the pump, you have to...
People forget the larger tires also make the brakes work harder. It's more leverage - the tires have the advantage like a longer lever. Brakes lose advantage as tire diameter increases.
Right. The truck brakes are mostly for the truck. The trailer brakes do the trailer. I've never had a problem because I let the trailer brakes handle it so the truck doesn't and use manual mode on the trans if needed.
Heck, Jeep isn't even sure what the Mojave can tow.............
Seems to me that they all have the larger alternator now. Makes sense as there's likely not a whole lot of cost difference to FCA vs. the cost of inventorying and contracting for 3 different alternators.
As far as lighting on...
Mild ticking is normal. You'll have to pay for them to pull it apart and check if they find everything is just fine and the tick is more a result of reading forum posts than it is a real issue.
If they looked it up, it would likely come up 4,000 as that's what most web sites state.
Jeep really screwed up in this area - even the specs section on the capabilities part of Jeep.com is screwed up.
NO one has been cheerleading anything - just countering - with facts, the bull crap people like you spew constantly.
I'm far more than an "internet expert" and will put my business and marketing experience against you any day - having rescued at least 2 business from the brink over the years...
Pretty much nothing that impacts their bottom line compared to the expenses of putting one out.
People scream and holler but in reality, those who will jump are a fraction of the noise. FCA knows the numbers, the forum screamers do not.
Don't go by that! That's for a sport with MAX TOW.
Mojave will never come as a max tow. That is not for Mojave!
Look at the rating for Mojave - not max tow.
2025 Mojave X
For a while they listed it the same as Rubicon, then, they changed the specs listed on the web again. Even the dealer is confused!
Since they only list payload and not towing, the only thing a person can go by it what's on the internet for towing specs.
Yes, it said 7,000 same as...
Most levels of JT - 6,000 pound towing - and my Mojave is limited to UNDER 900 pounds payload.
The JLU we have now - 5,000 pounds towing and up to 1300 pounds payload
I could technically tow my car hauler for my Eagle on it with the JLU. It would be maxing it out, but it's doable in an...
LOL- it's so wrong about most things. It says you can't get certain options with certain colors, choose these tires and your roof options change, even my dealer said to ignore it.
Jeep's equipment PDF even leaves things out and doesn't explain how to get various things.
Trust me - it's a bad bad...
Ignore that stupid jeep site. It's worthless, and usually wrong. Only the dealers can get you the facts. Can't believe people still use that site for anything after the discussions here the last couple of years.
It doesn't show the correct transfer cases either.
