See what you mean from a size/use perspective👍 I was thinking more of the JT being a 1941 tribute vs a Cybertruck being more of a science fiction set piece.
Funny I happen to have a can of both of those in the garage! Nice tip on the brake calipers too. I have been thinking of painting the calipers with the G2 system--have a few months to decide.
Greetings set to Woolwax my JT for a MN winter. Watched a LOT of videos, but have a question.
Having the engine compartment so open to the road is tough on trucks. Does anyone shoot some of the exposed bolts and hose connectors? I have a small magnet pen I use to identify iron based steel...
Just had an interesting experience. FYI, It's a Mojave, so has the steel hood. I had my Jeep hood covered with Xpel and had a problem, so it was removed. I have had Xpel on other cars, and at least a couple remove and replace situations which went off without a hitch.
As expected, it came...
Man, I really need to check here before searching Youtube! The videos I found were under the hood connections to the Aux. Seems I took the long way around! 👍
Neat idea! I'm new to this, but I do know that there is a bundle under the hood of 4 positive wires for these switches. Looks like it's next to the fuse box, so I think I will move my wire from the fuse tap to an aux. Not sure if you can just get a positive from the switch in the cab, but, in...
Just looking around the net for reviews and comments on the Diamondback Switchback and saw this on a recent Instagram. Wonder if this is a new latch design or an old design? Looks nice either way.
Thanks for the quick reply. (And I found it on your FAQ section--should have looked there first!) Looks like a very good deal. I am not a high-mileage type, so the ability to go for long term but lower miles is great.
Just one plus for Diamondback: After looking at a LOT of installation IFUs for various covers, it's nice to see covers that do not need drainage systems for water.
Greetings! I have not purchased an extended warranty before. The prices look great so I am interested. Rookie question: When does the extended warranty kick in? (Does it start immediately or when the factory warranty expires?)
I'm in the same decision making process. Reading a LOT of threads and reviews. The Diamondbacks all get great comments regarding being leak free, which is a big plus.
I just wish you could open the Diamondback SE just a few inches and drive with it for uses like picking up a few cans of gas...
