I have the Trektop NX on my JKUR during the warmer months. I'll be selling it this spring and buying the NX Glide version as it folds completely down into the back of the Jeep. Much easier to go completely topless as the regular NX is a PITA to take it completely off and put it back on when it's...
I looked for hours online trying to figure out if changing my own oil would void my JKUR warranty. I read all the paperwork that came with it and couldn't find anything that talked about who has to change the oil. I just ended up changing my own oil as it's extremely easy to do with JKs and I...
You guys are lucky. Living in Wisconsin I get to have the top off of my JKUR in the summer for maybe 5 days at a time max. This summer has been especially rainy. With fall here I already put the Hard top on as it's around 40 in the mornings and that's too cold for me.
The amount you use remote start is very dependent on where you live. I use mine daily in Wisconsin during the winter. It takes a vehicle a while to warm up when it's -20 outside.

Apparently it does in the Ford Mustang... sort of. From reading it seems that if you slow down to a point where you must shift gears you'll have to hit the clutch, which turns off the...
So besides unplugging the wires, which only takes an extra second, it's the exact same processes of taking off the doors as with automatic windows. Are the manual window doors lighter? I don't really see a reason to go that route?
I have the Kikbax for my JKUR and I love them. Super easy to put on after you remove the doors. No wobble at highway speeds and the foot peg makes driving more comfortable. Well worth the extra money IMO.
I keep the bolts off my JK doors. Partially because I was an idiot and stripped one of them when I tightened it too much. Those are the weakest bolts ever...
Friend thought it looked ugly on the Jeep website. Then we saw one in person and he said it wasn't all that bad, but he likes his Colorado better. He doesn't like boxy trucks, or any classic truck, so that explains it.
I love how it looks and think trucks today all look lame with zero...
Just got another letter from the dealership I leased my JKUR through saying that want to buy me out of my lease. I haven't checked recently, but what are people paying for their Gladiator leases? I talked myself out of even thinking about getting a Gladiator for a few years, but then I saw one...
I currently only ever take off the front doors on my JKU. I take my dog a lot of places and no way am I going to have him in the jeep with all of the doors off. Little guy would jump out right away. When he's not in there it's nice to haul stuff there instead of the back.
I'm hoping by the time I can order a JT that there will be some aftermarket way to change the color. I like cloth seats so I have a hard time spending the extra cash just for a different color dash.
Just got a notification from a different article today about this.

Could be a dumb question, but does that not weigh a lot more on the back end of it? If you backed it into the truck bed would it sag less, or is that just too much of a pita to do?
