EGR lowers combustion chamber temperatures which has the result of increasing soot production while decreasing NOx, so turning off EGR will cause the DPF to fill up slower but also increase DEF consumption to take care of the increased NOx production.
Check the owner's manual or any placards on your specific trailer to see what the lug nuts are supposed to be torqued to. There's a very good chance the correct spec is higher than 100ftlb. As an example, the ones on my 16RD are spec'd at 120ftlb.
For an intermittent rear camera problem, the first thing I would do is remove the access panel in the tailgate and check for a loose wire/cable connection at the camera.
I've never felt the need for anything larger than a 33. Funny enough, when I first bought my LJ it had 35s on it, and within the very first week I dumped those and installed a set of 33s.
I'd suspect a loose pin connection for the door lock in that door's wire harness/pigtail. Sometimes it'll make a good connection, other times not which results in the door lock not working properly.
