It's been in the 105-115 here lately. The humidity has been killer at 70% plus. That's what gets to me - I go outside and in minutes, I could actually wring out my shirt. Sweat doesn't evaporate well. We've all been hearing "Heat Index" a lot this summer, but what are the factors behind it?
I always thought it was simply heat and humidity.
That turns out to be far from the truth.

Just a few of the assumptions

I was out to do some of the testing for Bestop on my sunrider today and just a few minutes out, sweat was running down by head and face into my eyes and dripping onto things. My seats were wet with sweat.
We have crazy humidity this time of year due to the corn sweat - it's a real thing and it's worse outside of the cities and urban areas.
