  1. Trout Safari Overland Expedition Build

Nothing wrong with the tires, I love them! But the suspension still Bottoms out a bit and we have more sag than I like with the trailer on, so we decided to install stiffer springs and raise up the Jeep another 2+ inches. So with the addl lift I decided to go with 37's to fill the wheel well a...
  2. Trout Safari Overland Expedition Build

2 Month update: We have had a chance to use our Gladiator for a couple months after the initial modifications and it is time to do a bit of tweaking and some changes and additions. I will try to post some updates and reviews over the next few weeks as we prepare to get things the way we want...
  3. Happy with the Starlink so far.

I agree. I have been doing tests with mine also, it works great. I am designing a mount for the back that I will be able to raise on a pole when parked and it will lower just below the cross rails on the back rack when moving. Will also be easily removable for hard core off road.
  4. I have Tire Envy.

Spent a few days up in Parmachenee Maine. Didn't see another person or vehicle the whole time except for these bad boys waiting to get back to work. They cut us a bunch of new roads, but their ruts are a bit deep. Stopped by the olympic ski jump and stuck the landing.
  5. Is the jeep Gladiator the best off road truck?

I assume this is a drive by posting..
  6. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

    Beauty Power wagons!
  7. Rock Lights

I do not have them on my Jeep, but they did come installed on my new Trailer. They did work well lighting the campsite around the trailer this past weekend for walking around at night. Being old school, I found it odd I needed an app to turn the lights on and off when everything else is...
  8. Eco diesel or 3.6 gas??

The majority of the trails we run here were created by the most capable off road vehicle, the skidder. I have never seen one gas powered. Only makes sense to follow that up with the most capable off road street legal vehicle. For me that is the JTRD. Love my Diesel.

  11. What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

We got to play up in the North woods for a few days. Caught some great brookies and tried out the new turtleback trailer.
  12. Def fill? 2100 miles?

Since you are diesel guys here, how often have you had to drain the filter?
  13. Anyone have experience with BadAss Tents?

I have never seen one or even heard of them so I cannot help you there. The price seems low so that could be good, or quality equal to the price. I can only tell you I have a CVT. The quality of the tent is the best I have seen. Low price is certainly attractive though, so I understand. I...
  14. Craziness at Jeep "Go Topless" event

Looks like twice the amount of people and half as many arrests than last year.. Sounds like they are getting better..:CWL:
  15. New to me Gladiator 80th Anniversary

Then buy new. If not, well then just go with the flow and enjoy. You cannot blame a Jeep owner for doing what the add says it was built for.
  16. New to me Gladiator 80th Anniversary

Sounds like that Gladiator has experience in what they were designed for. I say sit in the drivers seat, turn the key, put it in 4wd and take it for a ride off road. That jeep may teach you something. And dont forget, even a van gogh need's to be cleaned once and a while. If a little dirt is...
  17. Jeep Capital of The World

Have you ever been to The island of St John In the USVI?
