I have this in my jku. Agree 100% with above that its very likely your leg pushing the lever down when you get out. Thats been my experience too

I’m in the market this fall/winter for my next daily driver, current is a 2015 jku which i plan to keep... im really digging the red gladiators. I cant wait to see a willys red gladiator in person.

Stay way back from dump trucks and flat beds, etc... its not Guaranteed to happen but some situations you might not be able to control. For The bugs, i try to have glass wipes, i think rainx helps too

I am also considering a Gladiator, i have a 2015 jku and have used a 5x8 trailer. It works well, but a truck would be better, i plan to get a new trailer but being able to stop “unplanned” will be nice. Also planning to keep the JK....
