Hello
Looking for some feedback as to why or why not?
My first inclination was to get a hard top, but the small rear window opening really bugs me. I like the fact that you can install roof racks and carry a load on the roof as opposed to the bed.
Plus the added security.
But....
I really...
Ughhhhh
There is another issue...
If you run any kind of lsd inthe front (torsen, clutch) you will lose the front axle disconnect feature.
They found a cheap way to do it, which is to disconnect one front axle and have the open diff spin on one side.
Keeps from turning the driveshaft in 2wd...
I'm not sure if this is the right place to as or not, but where do you find the option of the 7" screen on the config page?
I dont see it listed anywhere but half of the ones I'm looking at have them....?
Yea, the front is open from factory.
I was more curious/concerned with the rear - whether it was good enough or not.
I wonder what would happen if you had a limited slip in the front also (like the Raptor)?
No, the Tru-Trac is a torsen, not clutch plates.
That's why I'm asking the question. if it was clutch type, I would be less worried about it...
Basically, I'm on the fence whether to get a 6 speed manual and put lockers in, or get the max tow and live with the limited slip for a while (or...
Does anyone have any experience with the true track that comes with the max tow?
How does that diff perform off road?
I heard torque sensing differentials are not that good when one wheel is off the ground?
Does anyone know for sure what the difference in the axles is between max tow and base?
It says hd wide d44, but looking at the wheel track, seems to be the same?
Does the true track do well off road? Trying to decide which combo to go with..
