I'm just a little flummoxed. I've searched the forums and see other people driving these same cars and getting 16-18 MPG in city driving. And I wouldn't even mind somewhere between 15-16 but I can't even manage 14 MPG right now.
Hi all. I recently moved up from a 2014 JKU Sahara with the 6 speed manual to a 2024 JT Rubicon with the 6 speed manual. Given that the advertised fuel efficiency is within 1-2 MPG of each other I was expecting about the same MPG. But where I was getting about 16.5-17 average (80% city driving)...
If it winds up being true that the manual is out then boy am I glad I snagged a 2024 Rubicon with a manual. Now I just need to hope the engine lasts forever.
This is crazy. I'm 6'5" and admittedly slouch a tad but even sitting up as straight as possible leaves several inches before coming close to the hard top. The sound bar I would hit but not unless I recline the seat to the point of lounging and I would never drive in that position. I guess no two...
I saw the same thing. But I also don't know if I know how to read these docs. It's strange considering the only engine option I see is the V6, and yet on the 2025 Wrangler the V6 is exclusive to a manual transmission and the automatic is locked to the 2.0 turbo. I also don't see mention of a 4XE.
I bought a Rubicon with an MSRP of 65,200 for 54,900. I had the same dilemma as you. it was built the exact way I wanted it (hydro blue 6 speed manual steel bumpers, black hard top). Hard to find manuals with the specs I wanted so I went for it without waiting for the 2025 announcement. No regrets.
So I checked, and the FCW settings are set to "tone and apply brakes" and when these chimes go off, the brakes are not applied. So I don't think it's in relation to FCW.
I'm not sure. I do have the "active safety" package that includes the blindspot monitoring etc. But i don't know if that means I also have forward collision warning or automatic braking. I didn't see it in the uconnect menu with the rest of the safety features. If it is FCW, it is going off with...
Ok, update. It happened again twice on my commute to work this morning. I confirmed that it isn't warning me not to shift into first gear (that is a very subtle single ding from the dash). The chimes I'm hearing are loud throughout the whole cab and come in 6 rapid beeps in two groups of three...
I read through all 3 of those before posting, that's how i knew to try disabling all the tones/chimes associated with text alerts, blind spot monitoring etc. but the mystery chimes are still happening.
Hi all, wondering if you could assist with something. I bought a new 2024 Rubicon 6MT and I've had it for under a week. About once every time i've driven it, it has chimed at me during the drive. But there is no text on the dash or lights flashing to let me know what it is warning me of. This is...
