Yes, that is pretty much what is sounds like. That's how I recorded it in my video earlier in this thread. I was driving by a parked car and caused the noise to happen with my camera rolling. Seriously sounds like garbage in such an expensive vehicle.
Our engines are designed for 87, no reason we should have to run 91 to prevent these noises. I have also tried all grades of fuel included premium gas with no resolution of the sound. It is much more than a fuel issue IMO
My lights came in an Oracle outer bag with the box inside. The box was significantly damaged, crushed on all edges. Lights seem fine though.
I am missing my PNP harnesses as others mentioned above.
Mine are due to be delivered by 4pm today, excited to see them! I still need to order the diode mentioned earlier as I will be wiring them to both my reverse lights and one of my aux buttons
Is it the same noise from my video? If so I don't think they is anything to be done. It seems more and more people are experiencing the same noise. I can easily recreate the noise while driving slowly with a gentle acceleration between 2nd and 3rd. I can make it rattle every time. I honestly...
Got this email from Oracle this morning.....
Thank you for your your patience with your order of our new Gladiator Reverse Lights.
Due to the global shortages and shipping delays, we have decided to conduct additional Quality Control checks on these modules.
In order to ensure that you...
Definitely understandable. COVID has screwed everything including what seems all manufacturing lines. Hope the chips come in soon. I'm dying to get these lights installed!
Correct, this was their latest email I received:
"There is a global chip shortage including the IC chips used in these modules, and this is causing a delay in finishing the production run. Our current estimate is a 15-25 day delay but will update you as more information is made available."
I said I wasn't interested in a refund at this point.
Hell I waited 8 months for a ladder for my H2 from GOBI. The difference though was the told me flat out it would be upwards of 6+ months. I wasn't given an estimated shipment date that was continually pushed back. Just curious.
I'm curious at what point does everyone get a refund? I got in on the original group buy with an order date of March 6th. We are over 2 months and 2 delays at this point. Not saying I want a refund right now but who's to say this chip nonsense gets worked out anytime soon?
Never found the source. I think it's in the transmission programming, the RPMs are dropping too low when slowly accelerating at slow speeds and the engine lugs. Not entirely sure though.
This is honestly what I am leaning towards, ripping out my Mopar lift and going with a complete lift but I don't know at this point. Seems like with the tires wearing in the pull has lessened.
Thanks for the info. That's interesting, I thought 5.8 would be too low for these? When I was taking measurements I was around 7 degrees and my alignment wasn't bad when I had it put on the rack. Damn nice shocks also!
