  1. Mopar Lift Kit Question

I had thought about using the jack, maybe I'll give the fronts a little extra. I just started the rear and will loosen the UCAs as well. I did not do that on the front, do you think that will cause any issues? Oddly enough the wheels do not seem shifted, I wonder if not loosening the UCAs kept...
  2. Mopar Lift Kit Question

Forgot to add, did you guys loosen the UCA bolts? I did not and am glad I didn't after struggling to torque the LCAs. Did that change anything NOT loosening the bolts. I feel like the passenger lower shock mount I had to force to the side into the bracket along with the passenger swar bar end link.
  3. Mopar Lift Kit Question

That's how I did it, right to passenger, left to driver as step 22 said. The driver side spring definitely bowed out but the passenger not so much. I spent over an hour checking EVERYTHING and could not find anything wrong so I moved on. Bump stops were annoying but I actually had a large strap...
  4. Mopar Lift Kit Question

Hoping someone can help me as I'm in the middle of this install. You can see on the instructions, step 22 shows N being Right or Passenger and M being Left or Driver side. Each of those parts even have L and R molded into them. However, moving to step 23, it shows N going on the driver side...
  5. What can we do for you?

Thanks Benny. I knew it was not a separate piece but that picture does help me out. I think I might consider purchasing a replacement and trying to piece them together so I don't have to have a complete fender painted-basically put the new trim portion on my current painted section. I'll PM you...
  6. Trying to choose an adjustable track bar

I like that thought process. Maybe I'll just go with the T3 like you. Same application as mine, I will be installing the Mopar lift so I want an adjustable track bar and it seems Core 4X4 is the best bang for the buck. I'll look forward to your pics. What color did you go with?
  7. What can we do for you?

I have a question for you, can't seem to find the answer anywhere. My right (passenger) rear fender took some scrapes to the black plastic trim on the outer edge. I have heard this "trim" is plastic welded to the painted section then I have heard the plastic rivets hold this trim piece to the...
  8. Skyjacker G250MSB

Oh I like that and the purpose behind it! This is my first Jeep so the suspension is totally different from what I am used to but I read here as much as possible to learn. I might jump on that board with that rear setup. I do think the Mopar kit gives me most of what I am looking for minus an...
  9. Trying to choose an adjustable track bar

I am looking at the Core 4X4 track bars. The T3 has a poly bushing on the fixed side and johnny joint on the adjustable side and the T4 has JJs on both ends. My question, being new to Jeeps. Wouldn't one want the stiffest joints (johnny joints) for track bars versus poly or rubber bushings?
  10. Skyjacker G250MSB

Wow that's wild. I'm looking more for a one and done type of kit. I keep going back to the Mopar kit since it's mostly everything minus an adjustable track bar which I think I'm going with Yeti. Damn so many things to think about!
  11. Skyjacker G250MSB

Question, do either of you eventually plan on running longer shocks and ditching the shock extenders? I'm sure there are part numbers for the larger Fox shocks included in the Mopar lift I would imagine. Also, any plans on doing control arms since I'm sure this pulls the axle out of spec a bit.
  12. Skyjacker G250MSB

I actually have those Kuhmos on my H2 for over 3 years. No dry rot and plenty of tread life, granted that isn't driven much especially since buying my JTR but for the price they are excellent tires. I have thought the same, wearing down the MTs which came on mine before going bigger but I am...
  13. Phone Solutions

That slot is for the key fob, not a cell phone BTW
  14. Skyjacker G250MSB

wow that makes those 33's look small! What size wheels are you going with? I've added this spacer lift to my list of possibilities vs the Mopar.....can't make up my mind
  15. AEV 2” spacer lift vs Mopar 2”

This is interesting. Too soft as in diving while braking, rocking after stopping, or what type of symptoms from being too soft? This is the first I've heard, generally people are very happy with the Mopar lift but that is usually right after install. Not many reviews later down the road.
  16. AEV 2” spacer lift vs Mopar 2”

I am tempted to contact them and see if they will sell the kit without the calibrator for a cheaper price. I have a feeling that is not an option but worth trying.
  17. My new 2020 Mojave Gladiator

Very nice! I do love the wheels these are coming with. I like them more than my upgraded Rubi wheels! Hopefully I can find a set and swap them out!
  18. AEV 2” spacer lift vs Mopar 2”

I'm constantly debating a spacer lift vs Mopar but like you I've technically already paid for the upgraded shocks, etc with the Rubi. Plus the ride is amazing. I would like the larger Fox shocks but I think a spacer lift would do just fine. I like the full AEV spacer kit but I do not need the...
  19. Why did everyone decide their trim level (sport vs rubicon etc)?

I usually buy the highest trim when it comes to brand new vehicles. I love all the capability the Rubicon offers and being my first Jeep why not go all out? Earlier in the year when my wife bought her Grand Cherokee Summit I was amazed at the tech packages Jeep offered. Then I saw Gator and my...
  20. Tonneau Cover Photos and Fit, I need help making a choice.

Mopar Hard Folder for me. I tried the Rough Country tri fold because it was much cheaper but had multiple issues with fit and finish. Mopar destroys the RC hard cover for fit and finish. Sure it's expensive but also genuine Mopar if that matters to you.
