This will be Denver to OKC.
All down hill, right?? 🤪
Plus 4 adults. That’s prob 650 lbs. Tongue weight about 800. 1450 lbs.
I’ll be close or over payload.
Well, the car and U-Haul auto transport trailer weigh 6,200 lbs. So, based on your 1000 lb margin I don't think I'll try it. I should have mentioned this will be about 650 mile trip.
Sorry if this info is findable via search but I had no luck there...
2021 3.6L gas, automatic, stock it had max tow option and 7,650 lbs towing capacity. But now it has 4.88 gears, 3.5" Metalcloak Gamechanger lift and 37" tires.
I know my towing capacity decreased but is there an estimator to...
Yes. I have the Tazer JL Mini. It has lots of options I don’t use. But it does remember the Auto Start/Stop setting so once you turn it off it stays off.
I have Rock Trix wheels at 28 lbs and Toyo Open Country R/T Trail 37 x 12.5 at 76 lbs.
So 104 lbs per corner.
The best hwy mpg I got stock was about 22. I’m happy with only 4 mpg loss plus the jeep is so much better off road with the lift and tires.
If you don’t care about gas mileage stop reading.
I have 3.6 gasser, automatic, 37s, 4.88 gears. Just drove 500+ miles Dallas to Missouri. Mostly 65 mph, some 70, some 75. It’s mostly flat, some rolling hills, little to no wind.
18.3 mpg for the trip
In town I get 13.
When Discout Tires mounted mine they inflated to 45-50 psi. Truck was “skittery” on the highway. My 4x4 shop suggested 30psi and that has been great for me. Only have about 2000 miles on them. Probably too early to tell about wear??
I've had these for a bit and really like them. But today during heavy rain - lots of standing water - I found that they hydroplane quite easily. The Gladiator gets pulled harshly into the puddle/gutter.
Anyone else experience this? I'm a newbie and these are my first oversized tires. Is it...
I went with 3.5" metalcloak gamechanger lift, 4.88 gears, front E Locker, 37" x 12.5" x 17" Toyo Open Country R/T Trail tires. FYI 13 mpg around town in flat TX. Haven't been on highway trip yet.
