Watching the calendar here...waiting for those full length Gladiator ez-steps @IAG Off-Road
Will the full length mount at the same height on the rock rails as the ez-steps?
I want to compare them to the ez-steps out now for my need. I think I want the full length but not sure and don't want to...
Seems like lots of opinions and variations in use, weight, geography...all of which make a diffference in gearing.
The point of hitting 8th (imo) is for highway fuel economy. No I didn't buy a Jeep for fuel economy, but yes I care because I want to avoid stopping for gas as much as I do And I...
I've had two respected shops tell me that you have to consider weight as well. The 4.56 gears Jeep uses on the X packages are for the stock vehicle at that weight. If you have a JT & add things like a shell, rack, RTT, decked system, etc the overall weight impacts the behavior of the gearing...
what is the difference between the blue and the gray when it comes to performance, anything? is that just a preference or is there something else to it?
I love my aux switches since they came out, my old 91 jeep didn't have them and they are convenient IMO. Are they a bit low, yes, but how many times do you need to switch them on/off while on the trail? For me it is no big deal.
Would I like 6 rather than 4 yes, but after years of none from...
I hope they don't push to many digital badge trails, just seems like a waste of time to check in for that. I say just run trails - the only reason for me to check in is for the vehicle badge. my 2 cents.
Happy to see him go, just not soon enough - a few years ago would have been much better.
All points made here are valid in my eyes, and to some of them I just say we can hold out "hope" that they will recognize some of the cries from N.A. and adjust toward the positive for the "loyal Jeep...
I have been off-roading since 1991 (before that in 2 wheel drives but we won't talk about that!) and never had a winch until 2019. I have never used it once to get myself unstuck. I have pulled many others out and moved boulders and trees with it. Hitting age 60 made me want a winch over a...
I have BFG KO2 35x12.5x17 on my stock wheels. No rubbing on the Mojave with stock suspension. I eventually bumped it up and did a leveling because I wanted more ground clearance but from a tire perspective I didn't need to. I think the Willy's should be fine with the 1.5" leveling kit...
I like it - I just wish the back hatch DIDN'T have the window. And for those talking about why you would want one of these I say because different people use their Jeep's differently. Look at all of those Wranglers with the soft-top that slants down like this. I have a SmartCap and love it...
I agree with James comments (jsyn) - the quick release RTT mounts are the best option I found and were recommended by a couple of different local 4x4 shops. I do like the slimline on my SmartCap and like that most of their accessories are less expensive than other brands.
I ended up NOT...
It looks like the Big Bear is a Sport S with more package options and a higher price. I still don't get why they don't offer most of the packages on any trim. Offer the flexibility for people to setup their vehicle with what they want rather than forcing some accessories, features and options...
