haha for over $70k it should include every accessory listed and lifetime maintenance. Jeep is just trying to go out of business IMO. Time to buy stock in every OTHER 4x4 manufacturer because their sales will be boosted by this kind of nonsense.
Those links go to the Naturnest site listing prices in Yen...isn't there a US option to buy that helps you out?
Not certain I am purchasing this yet, but I want to know in case I do decide to go with that Sirius RTT. So far I do like the looks and cost of it.
I am with you, I am searching for a reasonably priced RTT that I can keep my sleeping bag & pillow & blanket in while closed. That is much harder than expected. I don't understand why manufacturers are willing to make clamshells that are 10"-14" tall but not a 10" tall wedge that enables you...
Now you went and made me miss Montana! I need to get back up there one of these days, hit areas I haven't been, revisit some favorite places and back to my dad's hometown again (it has been a VERY long time since I have been there).
I have the RSI SMartCap EvoA with a Frontrunner roof rack, OVS 270 awning, and Decked system full of recovery gear and tools on my Mojave. I was driving uphill full time with that setup. Temporary fix for me was a 1" spacer on the rear springs.
I am debating between airlift and stiffer...
You should have added the Outlaw Trail while in the Sedona area. Very easy trail but great views and you can stop to see the petroglyphs at the Palatki Heritage Site. Nice hike up to the dwellings and LOTS of petroglyphs! Next Time, because this area is more than a one-time visit kinda place!
@SmartCap Will you ever consider offering the Kitchen-Bin without all of the cooking utensils?
I have tons of kitchen & cooking gear, I don't need or want more, but I would love to have the Bin setup so that I could have a home for it all. I can't justify buying that bin with all the extra...
I ended up installing a Rotopax fuel mount on the rear door (bracket attaches to door hinges). It keeps the fuel out of the back, although I am convinced by others here that it wouldn't reek of gas, and is handy when needed. I didn't go with a roof rack mount simply because I may get an RTT...
Not sure if RSI does but I used Frontrunner brackets designed for the RSI SmartCap to install their roof rack (also works for their load bars). So I would think that if RSI doesn't have RTT brackets for their load bars then maybe FSR may have specific brackets for the RSI.
Inside from the top of the Decked to the inside roof of the SmartCap is 26".
However the rear window opening on the SmartCap is lower, that looks to be about 22" roughly between the top of the decked to the bottom of that window opening.
Hope that helps.
I chose to buy and install a Frontrunner Slimline II rack on my SmartCap EvoA because at the time (almost 2 years ago) I honestly didn't think I would ever get an RTT. We had a little camper trailer that I intended to use. Things change.
Now I no longer have a trailer and have looked at the...
No doubt it will be way overpriced as all of the 4xe's are and as others mentioned the motor probably won't be sufficient for the larger vehicle they are putting it in.
That said I just got back from a 3 day offroad trip with a buddy who has a JLU 4xe on 35's. He went everywhere and more with...
I get 13-14mpg with my Mojave on 35's, with a SmartCap and Decked drawers as well as a roof rack holding my OVS 270 awning. On longer trips into the mountains I avg 10-11, and haven't seen 16MPG since I was bone stock. Wishing hasn't helped.
