I track every fill up on my vehicles.
On my Gladiator it's 15.3mpg avg, last tank was 12.8
city driving doesn't help, its a bit better on freeways but not as much as one would think.
It's a heavy slow vehicle and that's ok with me.
Yup, I'd not recommend anyone order from them/him
I received the Orange gladiator tailgate letters a few weeks ago(very slow shipping also), all the letters were just thrown into a cardboard box with some token bubble wrap, well several of the letters have deep scratches and marks on them. No...
Mopar version is the nice twill material.
see my post here: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/what-did-you-do-to-your-gladiator-today.23705/page-920#post-808187
For OEM/Mopar parts I've had good success with BAM and moparpartsaz
reliable trustworthy vendors.
Quadratec is also good, but not as cheap as they used to be, especially when they are now forced to charge sales tax for everything., not their fault, but man it sucks.
Mopar 82216370AA is black twill, it's also easier to find discounts for it as it's a Mopar part number - use dealer coupons etc, just shipping is a bit more as the box is larger in size, so you have to price around or if you have a decent local dealer who discounts order the part from them.
Super easy to install, even easier with the Mopar version as it comes fully assembled, also the Mopar instructions are good because they list the correct torque values for the 6 screws that are used.
just give the rubber seals a good cleaning beforehand.
Installed the Bestop (aka Mopar version) sunrider to my Mojave.
Its a substantial improvement from the JK design which I used to have on a older Wrangler.
I would yes, that sounds like a fair price.
while it may not be the most complicated thing in the world, there is wiring to route etc, $400 sounds good to me.
