I beg to differ. It doesn’t sound like my Challenger Scat Pack, but it does sound good. I started with a stock exhaust. I had both resonators and the muffler removed. Then, I had dual straight pipes with black rolled tips added. Finally, I had the J-pipe installed to kill most of the drone.

I had the J-pipe added this morning, and that eliminated a huge amount of the drone. In my opinion, it sounds better than any Flowmaster setup I've heard for the V6, and it's louder, too. I'm very happy with it. I'll post some pictures and audio in my build thread when I get the chance.

I'm hoping someone has some firsthand experience with that, specifically with the Pentastar. That would go a long way in helping me decide which option to go with.

The second tech heard the sound as well. After shaking everything down to check for anything loose, he noticed there were a lot of rocks stuck in the tires (thanks, mud terrains). He took some of them out and also found a "large metal object" stuck in one of the treads. I'm not sure what it is...

It does already make a lot of what I consider normal noises. This just came out of nowhere, and to me, sounds like something that needs to be addressed. If nothing else, I have new tires, wheels, and leveling spacers going on next week. Maybe that'll make a difference.

The only off-roading I'll be doing is in mud or on flat trails. I shouldn't be doing anything that will scuff up the wheels or tires. I didn't realize it before, but Toyo has a 35x10.50R17 tire. I'll have to consider that one, too. The dealer actually packaged my High Tide with mud terrains...

Thanks for the tip on the rear spacer. I wonder if a 3.5" kit would work out better. I'm hoping the 11.5" width would keep me away from wheel spacers. I'm still researching that.
