Yesterday, I noticed this clicking/ticking noise coming from under either the back seat or bed. It occurs only when in motion and speeds up in frequency as I go faster. There's no noticeable change if I hit bumps. Has anyone heard this before? I only have 5,500 miles on the truck so far. I have some audio below, you may have to listen closely over the mud terrains. It's more noticeable on my phone and in person.

The dealership has had my truck for four days. The first tech said he hears it. He can't pinpoint the sound, and it's "a normal Jeep noise." They're having a second tech look at it today. I have a feeling they're going to try and bill me despite the warranty.

Yeah lol the mud terrains drown it out on the YouTube video unless you put your ear next to the speaker. It's a lot more noticeable on the original video on my phone. I actually rain it through AI, and it said it sounds most like loose ball joints.

I feel like "normal Jeep noise" is just an excuse to not have to come up with a solution. It'll be interesting to see the documentation and what all they checked.

Living in Livingston Parish in three years that truck is going to be such a rattle trap you won't be able to hear that particular noise anymore.

Passenger dash rattles on mine now, a particular road by my house always had something popping in the left rear of the cab, and my driver side door panel sqeaks sometimes up by the glass. I'm close to going through a tie rod and drag link at 40K miles.

Going to blame some of it on Jeep quality, and an equal amount on the worst roads in America.

Perks of living atop swamp land.

It does already make a lot of what I consider normal noises. This just came out of nowhere, and to me, sounds like something that needs to be addressed. If nothing else, I have new tires, wheels, and leveling spacers going on next week. Maybe that'll make a difference.

Could be! Hopefully the dealer is some help.

I'm about to ride shotgun in my truck with my mechanic stethescope and look for my rattle 😂

The second tech heard the sound as well. After shaking everything down to check for anything loose, he noticed there were a lot of rocks stuck in the tires (thanks, mud terrains). He took some of them out and also found a "large metal object" stuck in one of the treads. I'm not sure what it is yet, but he said it didn't damage the tire.

I wasn't losing air pressure or anything like that, so I didn't look at the tires beyond giving them a quick once-over in the first place before going to the dealership. After he removed that object, the sound disappeared, so it seems like that was the problem. Kudos to the dealership.
