  1. Bug removal

I've had pretty good luck with this in the past to get the guts off the front of my enclosed car trailer. Spray it on before you start to wash & let it soak a little while to soften them up, then wash as normal. Found it at my local Car Quest Auto Parts Store a while back, and it does help.
  2. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Just knew I had to do something to help it to fend off rust & corrosion as long as possible. For the lifetime warranty, you are required to take it back annually for a touch up/re-application which you would have to do with any rustproofing. I'm fine with that as $150 is a fair price, and much...
  3. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Thanks for the compliment on the truck. I can't really think of any real downsides to this, and no matter what it has to be better than doing nothing at all. I first heard of this product on an undercoating/rust proofing thread on this forum. Did some further research, and seemed to be the...
  4. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Got the Mojave "Pickled" today with Krown Rust Protection to help keep the winter road salt & nasty de-icing chemicals from eating it alive. The owner of the shop did a super job with the application, and think it's a great value. Cost was $150 and comes with an unlimitied mileage/lifetime...
  5. Seven Sparta steps?

Your question may be moot. The bottom of the Amazon screen shot says they are not currently available, & don't know "when or if" they will be in the future. Not a good sign. Might want to do some research to see if Seven Sparta is still in business, or if they dropped this product application...
  6. Help a newbie, please!

Couldn't agree with XJADDICTION more. Make sure to get the LED headlight package. It's a must have for dark country roads.
  7. Leaking axle seal?

As I noted on post #74 of this thread, my Mojave built on 2/21/21 had this leak.
  8. Bed liner or mat?

Bedrug has begun production on their classic bedliner which gives full protection to the side walls of the bed as well as the floor & tailgate. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/bedrug-classic-bed-liner-finally-able-to-order.43819/
  9. Anecdotal observation of faster JT sales?

Am on a run today for work traveling from NW Ohio down to South Carolina. 579 miles on I75, I40, & I26. This is a fairly regular trip we do, so serves as a good yardstick for comparison. Saw 23 Gladiators today on the route throughout the day. As recently as a couple months ago, you would...
  10. Mojave orange mods

Thanks, I ordered them from Don at Pixel Decals. Both of these with the topographic pattern aren't currently listed on his web page, but I called him to see if he could make them as a custom order, which he was happy to do. His JL/JT Mojave/392 long hood blackout with the burnt orange...
  11. Leaking axle seal?

I never claimed that this vent issue was "the" definitive cause of these leaks. But common sense would indicate that at the very least, it is most likely adding to the problem. The vents are there so that as the gear lube expands while driving & warming up there isn't an excessive pressure...
  12. Leaking axle seal?

The hose is already there & routed up to the bed floor cross member. This cap is on the top end of the hose. So all you'll need is to clean the felt out of the existing vent cap, or put some type of fuel filter on the end instead.
  13. Leaking axle seal?

If you hadn't happened to see it before, check out my earlier post on page 5, #74 of this thread about the restrictive vent hose cap on the rear axle. After discovering this restriction, I had been running the truck with the vent cap assy. completely removed from the axle vent hose for about...
  14. Anecdotal observation of faster JT sales?

I drive semi for work, and up until 2-3 months ago in my travels, it was very rare for me to see a Gladiator out on the road "in the wild" so to speak. Not the case any longer. Not a day goes by recently that quite a number are seen out & about, or sitting in some lucky owner's driveway. So...
  15. HYDRO BLUE PEARL Gladiator JT Club

Hydro Blue is paint code PBJ
  16. Leaking axle seal?

They use your vehicle's VIN# when they order parts to help insure they get what your truck was originally built with. Finally was able to drop my Mojave off last Saturday for the pass. side axle leak. They are replacing the axle shaft w/seal & bearing assy. Supposed to arrive on Tuesday for...

  18. Bedrug Classic Bed Liner Finally Able to Order

Yes, it sounded like there are a lot of us that have been waiting for this release, which is why I wanted to pass the news along to the forum. Have been so used to calling over the last several months & hearing it was expected to be ready "by the middle of next month", or "by the end of the...
  19. Bedrug Classic Bed Liner Finally Able to Order

I was in the same boat & thinking about getting just the floor & tailgate kit, or maybe trying the WeatherTech bed mat. Really wanted the added protection for the side walls though, so have been holding out. Regular price runs $439 + whatever your local sales tax is+ shipping. Currently with...
  20. Bedrug Classic Bed Liner Finally Able to Order

This was always part of the diabolical plan when I ordered my Mojave without the factory spray-in liner. For the items I haul, and how the truck is used, it's the only way to go. Have had one in my '01 Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel since I purchased it in 2009. The darned thing wears like iron, and...
