I've owned 6 different I-6 engines of various vehicle type and I will absolutely trade/sell y current Gladdy to get into one of these. I think around 280-300 hp would be plenty, I just want that yummy torque
I've yet to have an issue with ESS or batteries (knock on wood) but plenty of friends have. I believe halfway through 2022 MY or 2023, Jeep will end this two battery system.
Here in Northern VA, all the bored, big $$ soccer moms all have high dollar Wranglers. They have replaced the Land Cruisers, 4Runners etc.
Within 5 miles of my house I know of at least 5 Wrangler 392s. Seems avg one around is a $80k car. Cant wait to see the carnage after we get this years first...
I did my first change at 1,000 miles to catch any issues early. I'll do all mine on all my cars because I too have had bad experiences at both dealer and Jiffy Lube type places. Last straw was an oily handprint on tan leather of wife's car where tech pushed himself out of car.
I have an OX Locker in the Dana 60 rear in my CJ. Love it. Ran it electrically for two years before I had on board air then just changed the external actuator. yes, the actuating cable is stiff but it takes a ton of abuse as well.
I really appreciate all the input. Seems I was right about how good the soft top is.
I bought right before inventory became scarce and there were no soft tops within 200 miles. Looks like I'll install one.
6 month old Gladdy with hard top. Miss the soft top of previous 35 yrs of Jeeps. So may purchase one soon. I read here and there about "premium" with "tint windows" etc.
I have nobody in my area with a soft top to physically inspect so could y'all tell me a)types of tops b)best source c) what I...
Have a 2021 Willys, installed Teraflex 1.5" spacer to counter winch weight. Will be adding Clayton 2.5" Overland Plus over the winter. I planned on keeping at least the 1" spacer but wanted to hear from those who have followed the same path. looking for level, no heavy rake.
I see your lift instructions mention "proper backspacing" but wonder if you have recommended ranges for each lift. I'm looking at 2.5overland plus with 35s on Willys.
