Got a offer for 200 for 5 tires which I laughed off... But realistically how much could I expect to see for zero mile JTR take off tires?

Peruse the Member Marketplace and see what others have asked for them.

If they are Wildpeaks you should be able to get between $500-$800 depending on the area you are selling. Also depends on the miles on them and how long you are willing to wait.. I sold a set of Willys tires, BFG KM2s 255/75-17 with 1600 miles, for $700 locally. They sold in less than 48 hours.

The hard part about Rubicon take-offs is many people sell them with the wheels and get around $800. So as a shopper would you want to pay $800 for just tires when you could get wheels and tires for the same?? It's a tough market and sometimes you need to wait it out for that one right buyer.

Sold the wildpeak ATs for 900$... probably had 10 miles on them before I took them off and replaced them. If you need the money you can sell them cheaper but I was really in no rush. I turned down a lot offers.

Figure out what tires come with it and look them up on Discount Tire and Tire Rack.

This^^ It is just sort of a tough/odd sale for tires only. It really just comes down to the local market and the right buyer at the right time. While the Falkens are decent tires, a lot of people would not necessarily be looking at them unless the price was very very attractive. I went down this exact road when I was looking to either add new tires to my stock sport wheels or just buy some rubicon takeoffs. I saw some ads for tires only in the $400-$800 range. It seemed like a no-brainer for me to go with five JL Rubicon takeoff wheels and tires (with maybe 500 miles on the tires/wheels) with the tpms still installed for $1,000.

Now is a good time to sell tires.

I don’t think it’s odd to sell tires only. People always need tires. And 285/70/17 is a pretty popular size outside of Jeeps.

I listed my factory take-offs for $600 and had a lot of interest in less than a day. But ended up selling them to my neighbor for $400. They were Bridgestone Duelers that were about $800 new.

The problem is that if you go on Craigslist, you can often find a complete set of take off wheels and tires for about the same as it would cost to just by tires new.

Go on Craiglsist and you will see what others are asking for tires.

I've noticed that it varies a lot by region. In areas with more population density the prices are lower because there are more people selling take-offs within reasonable distance.

$1,080ish for the Falken MTs new.

I’d start at $750-800 and see how it goes.

If you are listing them on craigslist, what others are selling for is going to be the biggest factor. If you live an area where there are a lot of take-off wheels/tires on craigslist, that is probably going to drive the price down quite a bit, especially if you are selling just tires.

For example, if I check my local craigslist, there are a lot of Wrangler wheels and tires, many of them take-offs that are essentially new, in the $500-$800 range. Something to consider here is that if a potential buyer is comparing buying just a set of tires to buying a set of wheels and tires, it isn't just what the wheels are worth, but the cost of mounting and balancing.

And you shouldn't expect anywhere close to the price of the tires new, because even if your tires are 0 miles, they are "used"; they are coming with no warranty.

Not a penny less than $500, that’s what my dealer gave me for my take offs, they’ll probably sell for $1,500.

I read on the WranglerJL forum about a guy who when his tires are used, just buys another set of new take offs and sells his old wheels and tires for $500.
